Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, according to People.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown allegedly battered Rihanna on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

“They’re together again. They care for each other. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s homes. While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

I don’t know what to say – outside of “what is she thinking?”. What’s your take on it??

Is Angelina Jolie Avoiding Ryan Seacrest??

Angelina Jolie went out of her way at the Oscars to avoid Ryan Seacrest. While Ryan was able to ask Brad Pitt a quick question about how he felt about being nominated for an Oscar – Angelina once again avoided speaking with Ryan.

It happened at the Golden Globes and then again last night at the Oscars. There are some rumors that Angelina was not happy with Ryan when he asked her back in 2006 what she fed her children for dinner when Angelina’s mom was on her death bed.

Taylor Swift Graces The Cover of Rolling Stone Magazine

Wow!! What an honor. Only 19 years old and already on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. Taylor Swift wrote on her MySpace blog,

“I’m so excited, I can’t even stand it. It’s on news stands now, and I haven’t seen it yet because I’m in London, but I just can’t believe I get to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Wow. This is crazy.”

Taylor Swift revealed a few things about herself for the interview with Rolling Stone Magazine.

She is just like your everyday teen – she tends to be more tomboyish. She doesn’t get manicures or massages and tends to eat food that is not so good for you.

Taylor said,

“Yeah, I totally am a tomboy. If I had been better at sports, I would have just been a tomboy. But I wasn’t, so I got into singing. ”

Rolling Stone sees Taylor as the “good girl”.

“She really is that girl in the tiny little bedroom at home writing songs about the things she hopes and dreams and feels.”

Not only is Taylor Swift  writing and singing about her hopes and dreams she is also living them.  The cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and a stint on Saturday Night Live.  I’ll take it!!

Victoria Beckham’s Fashion Line Will Not Be Sold At Saks

VICTORIA BECKHAM may always dress fashionably but apparently her dreams of selling fashion are not going as well.

Victoria’s denim clothing line has been dropped from Sak’s Fifth Avenue. Sak’s is upset that Victoria is selling a new collection of designer gowns exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman. Henri Bendel and Kitson have already dropped Victoria’s dVb brand due to poor sales.

“They were offended when she sold her dress line to Bergdorf’s and not to Saks, even though Saks launched her denim line in their New York store. Bergdorf never carried her jeans, but they got her designer line anyway.”

Besides Hugh Jackman, Who Else Will We See At The Oscars??

We will definitely see Hugh Jackman at The Academy Awards since he will be the host this year. But who else can we expect to see at the Oscars??

Access Hollywood has reported that Sarah Jessica Parker will be presenting the Oscar. Other rumored presenters are Jennifer Aniston (who will be bringing John Mayer as her date), Rob Pattinson, Zac Efron (presenting for Best Original Song)

Stars who are “rumored” to be performing at the show will be Beyonce, and “High School Musical” stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. In addition, this year as a tribute to the celebrities who have passed away in 2008, Queen Latifah has been slated to sing, “I’ll Be Seeing You”.

The 81st Annual Academy Awards air on February 22 live at 5PT/8ET on ABC.

Star Studded Event – Children Mending Hearts

Children Mending Hearts held a star-studded event last night at the House of Blues in LA. The charity honored International Medical Corps for their dedication in supporting the women and children victimized by war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Some of the stars who attended the event include, Alyssa Milano, Ben Affleck, Sheryl Crow, Anderson Cooper, Marisa Tomei, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Elizabeth Berkeley, Hank Azaria and many more.

Heath Ledger’s Oscar Will Go To Matilda!!

If Heath Ledger is named best supporting actor at Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony, his daughter, 3-year-oldMatilda Rose Ledger, will become the owner of the Oscar statuette, should he win for his portrait of the Joker in “The Dark Knight”

Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs last year at the age of 28.

Heath’s nomination, and his daughter’s young age, led to one of the trickiest situations the academy has dealt with in its eight decades of awarding posthumous Oscars.

According to the Huffington Post,

“It’s complicated, because there are two different questions that have to be answered,” says Bruce Davis, executive director of the academy. “First, we have to decide who gets the job of accepting the award onstage on the night of the ceremony. And then there’s the question of the eventual disposition of the posthumous statuette, which may not stay with the person who accepts it.”

Academy tradition calls for a posthumous statuette to go to the spouse, or, if there is no living spouse, to the oldest child. Heath and Michelle were not married – they weren’t even together at the time of Heath’s death – and Matilda is his only child.

The whole thing is so sad and unfortunate. I’m glad Matilda will receive the award – yet it is so unfortunate that Heath Ledger passed away at such a young age.

According to the Daily Mail, Freida Pinto, the newest household name, of Slumdog Millionaire has been hiding a secret husband whom she has since broken it off with.

Freida Pinto is said to have married Rohan Antao at a ceremony in Goa in December 2007 but last month ended their relationship. The couple were previously thought only to have been engaged.

Newspapers in India are reporting the wedding took place in Mr Antao’s home town after the couple made an ‘impulsive’ decision to marry.

Their relationship appears to have floundered in the wake of Slumdog Millionaire’s success. It is claimed that Mr. Antao, a Mumbai-based executive, supported Pinto during filming but ’she just stopped calling him’ at the time of the Golden Globes this year, according to reports.

“He is completely shocked at being dumped and is heartbroken” a friend has said

Freida has refused to discuss her private life despite all the publicity surrounding Slumdog Millionaire.

Her agent in India, Meenakshi Gehani, said last night:

‘We do not want to comment. However, if she is married then whoever is claiming it should produce a marriage certificate.’

A Page Six spy spotted Rachel Bilson on a Virgin America flight from LA to JFK Monday night with her mother and has reported the actress is engaged to longtime beau Hayden Christensen.

“A man sitting in front of her on the plane saw a ring on her finger and asked if she was married,” the Page Six spy, overheard Bilson reply, “I’m not married yet, just engaged. I know I look like I’m 15, but I’m actually 27.”

Her rep didn’t return calls.

There have been rumors floating around – especially this weekend with new photos emerging of Kate Moss with a tiny belly – that Kate Moss is pregnant.

According to News of the World.co.UK, it has been confirmed that Kate Moss is 3 months pregnant.

The supermodel is now past the crucial three-month stage, with the baby believed to be due at the end of August.

Kate is expected to formally announce the pregnancy soon—ending weeks of speculation. She has already broken the news to close pals, who have been sworn to secrecy.

Kate and boyfriend Jamie Hince are said to be thrilled. Kate already has a six-year-old daughter Lila Grace from her relationship with magazine publisher Jefferson Hack.

Kate is said to have already curbed her party lifestyle. Although Page Six did mention,

“KATE Moss pulled a diva fit during a recent shoot for Roberto Cavalli. Moss arrived at the Los Angeles shoot “two hours late,” said a spy, and in a grumpy mood. “She demanded a beer and then proceeded to finish off beer after beer after beer while she was getting her make-up done. When it was time for the shoot, she sat on the male model’s lap but ignored him – didn’t say one word to anyone – and then, when her pictures were done, walked out.” A rep for Moss didn’t return calls.

I don’t know what to think – if she is past the 12 week stage and pounding down beer after beer – that is not a good combination.
I’m not sure if I should congratulate her or send her an article on the dangers of drinking while pregnant.

Salma Hayek has married French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, Monday’s online edition of the weekly French newsmagazine Le Point reports.

Salma and Francois-Henri were married on Saturday, Valentine’s Day in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris, according to the publication, which is owned by the Pinault family.

How romantic is that??

The couple who have a daughter together, Valentina Paloma Pinault, had reunited after they had called off their engagement in July 2008.

People reports, that a Salma made a trip to Paris in September and November – helping to rekindle the flame between the pair.

Salma told TV host Rachael Ray that when she kisses Alec Baldwin on the show,

“I keep telling Francois, ‘I imagine I was kissing you.’ ”

Pinault is CEO of the luxury giant PPR and the son of one of France’s richest men, Francois Pinault, whose fortune last year was estimated to be $16.9 billion by Forbes magazine.

Madonna’s Nude Photo Auction

A black and white, nude photo of a 20-year-old Madonna went for $37,500 at auction Thursday, an apparent record auction price for a photograph of the superstar singer.

An unnamed European buyer bought the picture, which had been expected to sell for up to $15,000, according to Christie’s auction house.

Madonna, was a dancer trying to make ends meet when she answered a newspaper ad seeking a nude model. She may have been paid as little as $25 for the 1979 photo session.

Lee Friedlander’s image appeared in Playboy in 1985. Friedlander has said of the photo session that Madonna

“seemed very confident, a street-wise girl. She told me she was putting a band together but half the kids that age are doing that. She was a good professional model.”

Christie’s states, the photograph auctioned Thursday was one of six from that shoot that appeared in Playboy; the other five pictures were sold together in 2003 for $7,170.

Another photograph of Madonna, by Helmut Newton, sold Thursday for $18,750, beating a $15,000 estimate. In that shot, also sold to Playboy in the 1980s, Madonna sports lingerie, curly blond hair and a seductive expression. A man kneels beside her, according to Christie’s.

Jonas Brothers On Late Night With David Letterman

The Jonas Brothers, aka today’s Beatles, made their 1st appearance on the David Letterman show, Thursday, February 12th.

Kevin, Joe and Nick are promoting their upcoming 3D concert film, to be released on February 27th.

As always, Letterman was quite amusing. When Nick Jonas talked about their ups and downs on the way to superstardom Dave interrupted by saying,

“Let me just interject something. You’re 16? You’ve had no ups and downs! It’s all been up! You’re 16!”

Good point Dave!!

Dave asked about ex-girlfriend,Miley Cyrus, Nick downplayed their lengthy relationship,

“I was 14. I was pretty young, so I think you can just consider it a young, little relationship.”

When asked about Taylor Swift, Joe Jonas looked a bit stunned and muttered,

“You know… we didn’t work out.”

Joaquin Phoenix ‘Sits” With David Letterman

Joaquin Phoenix was on Late Night With David Letterman last night, February 11th. Only one word can describe the “interview” – BIZARRE.

Joaquin sat throughout the interview and answered David Letterman with one word answers, mumbled, chewed gum, wore dark glasses and barely looked up. And that was the good part. When David commented on the chewing gum – Joaquin took it out of his mouth and stuck it under David’s desk.

David, ever the comedienne, was his usually funny self. He referred to Joaquin and his new grizzly adams like beard as the “uni-bomber”. David tried to get Joaquin to speak but Joaquin would have none of it. David ended the interview by saying,

“Joaquin – I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight”.

He then said, “We owe an apology to Farrah Fawcett “- another bizarre interview a couple of years back.

Madonna’s Photo Shoot For W Magazine

Madonna is featured in W Magazine March’s issue in a 46 page photo spread that was shot in Rio de Janeiro.

The newsworthy part of the shoot are the photos of her and latest boy toy, Jesus Luz. Madonna was so enamored with Jesus after meeting him on the photo shoot last December, she invited him to accompany her on a string of dates on her “Sticky and Sweet” world tour. They have since been pictured dining together in New York and are believed to be dating.

Miley Cyrus Apologizes a Second Time!!

MILEY CYRUS has taken to her website to issue another apology for last week’s “photo incident”. In the photos Miley and friends appear to be mocking Asian people by pulling on their eyes. Miley was forced to apologize after the photos were leaked but the apology was rejected by officials at a leading Asian-American organization who insisted it was “not enough”.

In the last eight years, Julia Roberts has become a mother, dabbled on Broadway (in “Three Days of Rain”) and provided the voice for both a spider (in “Charlotte’s Web”) and an ant (in “The Ant Bully”).

Julia Roberts will make her “comeback” in the movie,“Duplicity” – set to be released on March 20th. The film is about a pair of corporate spies (Clive Owens and Julia Roberts) who share a steamy past hook up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses.
Also starring in the movie will be Billy Bob Thorton, Tom Wilkinson and Paul Giamatti. Julia’s last real leading role was in 2001 when she starred in “America’s Sweethearts” and “The Mexican.”

Lily Allen needs to either give up text messaging or have someone help her before she hits the send button.

The first incident occurred when Lily sent Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson a topless picture of herself by mistake.

Now we have Lily accidently texting Simon Cowell. Lily, who recently said she would love to be a judge on Cowell’s U.K. talent series The X Factor, wrote a text about the star while on vacation over the Christmas. But when it came time to press send, she mistakenly forwarded the flirty note to Simon himself.
Conact Music quoted Lily as saying,

“I was kind of seeing this guy and then it was over. So I texted my godmother in Jamaica and told her and as a joke I said, ‘Maybe my next conquest should be Simon Cowell.’

Michael Phelp’s Dropped By Kellogg’s

Michael Phelps is paying for the now famous photo of him smoking a bong – in a big way!!

Kellogg’s is dropping Michael as a corn flakes spokesman.

Kellogg’s made a statement:

“We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the U.S. Olympic team. Michael’s most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract.”

Michael was also suspended from competition and denied financial support for three months by USA Swimming, the sport’s national governing body.

“This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero,” the federation says in a statement. “Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust.”

Michaels other sponsors, including Speedo, Omega watch and Visa, have stuck by him.

Accompanied by Harvard men in drag, Renee Zellweger has been honored as the Hasty Pudding Theatricals woman of the year. Hasty Pudding is the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe. By tradition, many of its male members wear women’s clothes for the parade.

The actress rode in the back of a silver convertible Bentley during a parade through Harvard Square on Thursday. She waved to spectators while capturing the event on her cell phone camera.

The Hasty Pudding Theatricals Man of the Year is James Franco. James is set to receive his award on February 13th.

The Man and Woman of the Year awards are presented annually to performers who have made a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.” The Woman of the Year award has been granted to many notable entertainers, including Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Julia Roberts, Jodie Foster, Elizabeth Taylor, and, most recently, Charlize Theron. The Man of the Year’s past recipients include Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Anthony Hopkins, Bruce Willis, and, last year, Christopher Walken.

Gossip Girl Spin Off

The “Gossip Girl” spin-off has its first character.

Krysten Ritter has been cast to play Carol Rhodes – the older sister of Lily van der Woodsen aka Lily Rhodes in the new prequel series, a rep for The CW confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The spin-off will follow Lily (played by Kelly Rutherford on “Gossip Girl”) in her teen years in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

After a falling out, the privileged Lily is forced to move in with Carol – her sister and family black sheep. Having spent her childhood as a “have,” attending a high-priced boarding school in Montecito, Calif., Lily must now adjust to life as a “have not” living in the much less posh San Fernando Valley and enrolling in public school.

The untitled prequel will debut on May 11 during the second-to-last episode of this season’s “Gossip Girl.”

“They actually don’t tell us much,” Blake Lively recently told AccessHollywood.com about the new series. “But our second-to-last episode is going to double as their pilot. So a lot of our show will be flashbacks of the young Lily and the young Rufus, which you’ll be seeing in the new series… I think it’s a great idea!”

New York’s Shopaholic Movie Premiere

The Big Apple was host to the world premiere of “Confessions of a Shopaholic” last night. Walt Disney Pictures rolled down red carpet in front of the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City to welcome stars for the special screening event of their upcoming romantic comedy about a fashionista financial columnist whose shopping addiction has put her in major debts.

Despite the frigid temperatures stars were bracing the cold to join the celebration. Hugh Dancy, Isla Fisher, Joan Cusack, John Goodman, Krysten Ritter, Leslie Bibb, Nick Cornish and Wendie Malick were among the film’s cast ensemble seen attending the premiere.

Some of the stars shared stories with USA Today on some of the craziest ways they made cash.

Isla Fisher:

“I sold lemonade when I first came to Los Angeles on the side of the road” As a child, Isla was even more inventive: “I used to collect my horse’s poop and sell it (as manure) by the side of the road.”

John Goodman:
Joked that he once “stole cars” to make ends meet. But then he confessed, “I ran info for a bookie once.”

Wendie Malick:
Worked as an aid for former congressman Jack Kemp in Washington.

“It was only for a few months, and then I thought, ‘You know what? I need to be an actress. This is not for me.’ “

Holly was Playboy Magazine’s “Playmate Editor”. She has since quit and went to her MySpace page to explain herself.

“I quit for several reasons:
1. I moved to Vegas and that job doesn’t pay enough to make a commute worthwhile ( I never cared about the salary when I got the job-I made my money doing Girls Next Door and I just did the job because I loved it.). “

She moved to Vegas to be with new love, magician, Chriss Angel.

2. After two years of it, I no longer found it challenging. It got to be routine, which was sad for me, since I was initially so passionate about the job and the creative aspects involved.

3. It was awkward. Not that anyone tried to make it awkward or didn’t treat me fairly . . . it just was.

So as you can imagine, when one is trying to move on with their life, it isn’t beneficial to spend so much time on something that doesn’t pay much and sadly enough is no longer rewarding to you.

But I loved my job while I had it, appreciate the opportunity and the experience greatly and wish whoever takes my place the best.

The Emporio Armani ad campaign which features a series of almost nude, steamy, photos, reportly made David ten million dollars (worth every penny). The campaign images were taken at the beaches in Malibu by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The Ad will also appear in sports, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

Australia Gives ‘Stamp’ of Approval to Nicole, Cate, Russell and Geoffrey

Australia is honoring their Oscar-winning Australian actors, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Russell Crowe and Geoffrey Rush, by immortalising them on postage stamps. Wow. That is the ultimate honor. I know you can have your face put on a stamp on your own, but to have your country distribute to everyone is unbelievable.

The four actors/actresses were named legends of the year by the post office.

The special edition Australian stamps will make for essential movie memorabilia and can be bought online. Each of the film stars gets two stamps – showing them both in and out of character.
Nicole is pictured in a scene from Moulin Rouge, Russell’s stamp shows him in The Gladiator, Geoffrey’s is taken from Shine and Cate’s is from Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

The four Australian Academy Award winners have each received a 24-carat gold replica of the stamps and all were thrilled to be selected.

Not only is Ashton Kutcher on Twitter, aplusk, he also has a new web series on Facebook. The series can be found at funspace on Facebook. It is a behind-the-scenes reality series shot at Ashton’s production company, Katalyst Media.

The series,”KatalystHQ,” will be a semi-scripted portrayal of life at a Hollywood production company where the boss is Ashton Kutcher. Ashton spoke to Advertising Age and said,

Kendra Wilkinson Gets Her Own Reality Show

E! has announced that Kendra Wilkinson is getting her own reality show.

The show titled, Kendra, will follow the 23-year-old as she moves out of the Playboy mansion. This is a big deal since she had 24/7 room service and a social secretary. This will be Kendra’s first time living on her own – this means she is going to have to learn how to do the laundry, cook, grocery shop and pay the bills.

That really is reality – another name for the show could be The Real World.

The show will also follow Kendra and her fiance, Philadelphia Eagles’ Hank Baskett (whom she’s marrying on June 27), on a road trip as she helps him move from New Mexico to California. Their on-camera growing pains include balancing her party-girl lifestyle with his conservative, religious mindset.

Demi Moore, aka, Mrs. Kutcher has taken to Twitter to respond to the rumor,

“Been asked all day so to clear up rumors we are not adopting a child but what a gift if that at some time was something we wanted to do!”

She went on to say,

“I don’t read or look for these things and have never really commented but I appreciate sharing truth with this community.  thank you”

It’s so refreshing to hear “the news” first hand and not have to wonder if there is any truth to what the tabloids are printing. What do you think??

Joaquin Phoenix Denies a Hoax

Joaquin Phoenix has claimed that he was leaving acting to reinvent himself as a rapper. But after an unimpressive, somewhat laughable preformance at a Las Vegas club, most thought his jump to hip-hop was a joke.
Joaquin, adamantly denies gameplay.

“There’s not a hoax,” Phoenix tells the Associated Press of doubts about his sudden transformation from movie star to hip-hop artist. “Might I be ridiculous? Might my career in music be laughable? Yeah, that’s possible, but that’s certainly not my intention.”

If Joaquin really is pursuing his passion for music, I feel badly for him that everyone assumed his performance was a hoax, because it was so bad.

Britney Spears and Parents Are Being Sued By Sam Lutfi

Sam Lutfi filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents for libel and defamation, the Associated Press reports. Sam Lutfi is Britney’s former manager.

Lutfi’s attorney, Bryan J. Freedman said in a statement Tuesday that there is “overwhelming evidence from independent witnesses” proving his client’s case and that “at the time of the trial in this action, the jury will have an opportunity to weigh the credibility of the witnesses.”

Jamie Spears, Britney’s Dad and permanent conservator, was granted a restraining order against Sam Lutfi and Britney’s ex Adnan Ghalib, on Friday.

According to court papers Jamie felt Lutfi and Ghalib were trying to gain control of Britney’s affairs.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have their daughter, Nahla Ariela, and Gabriel would like a brother or sister for her.

According to People, Gabriel thinks its important that Nahla have a sibling. He said,

“I’ve never known anybody who’s had a single child [and] I’ve always been around big families. I believe in big families.”

Gabriel comes from a family of 8 children – that explains quite a bit.

According to Gabriel, Halle is on board with the plan.

Britney Spears Will Be Going On Tour With Her Boys

Britney Spears has been threatening to cancel her up coming Circus tour if she was not going to be premitted to bring her sons.
Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline have come to an agreement, so the show will go on. “Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour,” says Spears’s blog.

According to TMZ.com, the pop star would have homes in three places — New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles — so that the children could stay nearby while Spears commuted back and forth from regional concert venues.

“Britney is so excited to kick off her tour,” her blog says. “She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again.”

Her Circus tour kicks off March 3 in New Orleans and ends April 28 in Chicago.

Jennifer Aniston spent the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday with John Mayer and his friends at a casual get-together just outside Los Angeles.

“She and John were affectionate and shared some hugs during the game,” says a source. “They acted like a normal couple spending a casual Sunday together with friends.”

Their on-again, off-again relationship is keeping everyone guessing. But, this Super Bowl date has brought back to life the rumors that John will be proposing to Jen on her 40th. We will keep you posted.

The Bachelor – A Visit to Seattle

This week’s episode is a surprise visit to Jason’s hometown of Seattle – giving the 5 remaining ladies a chance to check out their potential future home.

Jason was supposed to take Melissa on a romantic date but ended up having her to his house for a more casual date since Tye didn’t want Jason to leave. Melissa did not get to meet Tye but did see him sleeping.

Jason then escorted Jillian, Stephanie and Molly on a ferry ride around Seattle and then to a revealing live radio interview.

On the final individual date, Jason chooses Naomi. They took a ride on a sea plane and went rock climbing. Jason expresses his concern over Naomi’s background since her parents are divorced and her mother left.

Still unsure of his decision, Jason pays a surprise visit to the ladies’ hotel and takes Jillian for coffee to have a heart-to-heart talk. Jillian initially went on The Bachelor for an adventure which concerned Jason. Jason wants to make sure she is in this for the right reasons.

Then at the rose ceremony, Jason breaks the rules and seeks out Naomi for a final talk. He wants to make sure that she is ready for the lifestyle that Jason has to offer. Jason sent Stephanie home. It was truly heartbreaking. He was practically in tears and told her in front of all the girls what an amazing person she was. He wants her around as a friend forever. I’m sure she will be thrilled to hear that especially since she came on the show looking for love. Stephanie is a class act and deserves to find someone special.

Next week, Jason gets to go to the hometown visits to see Melissa, Naomi, Jillian and Molly. And then there were four.

Birthday Weekend for Justin, Ellen and Portia

The Superbowl wasn’t the only place for parties – there were also birthday celebrations going on in California.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi celebrated their birthdays with a joint bash at home on Saturday. Ellen celebrated her 51st birthday and Portia celebrated her 36th birhtday.

Samantha Ronson was there to deejay and brought along girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. People reports other pals included Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette, Drew Barrymore, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Another birthday celebration was for Justin Timberlake. Jessica Biel threw Justin, a Superbowl themed surprise 28th birthday party on Sunday. The penthouse was transformed with flat-screen televisions brought in especially for the festivities, and the party feasted on gourmet buffalo wings, pizza, mini sliders and red velvet cupcakes.

Let’s not forget Lauren Conrad, from the Hills. Lauren was surprised when she entered the restaurant Lavo and saw her friends, including Lauren “Lo” Bosworth and her actor-beau Kyle Howard (Missing: Her pal Audrina Patridge and ex-beau Brody Jenner.) ready to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

Happy Birthday to Justin Timberlake, Lauren Conrad, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi.

I have to admit – I am writing this story because I have become obsessed with reading Demi Moore and husband, Ashton Kutcher’s updates on twitter. I can’t understand why – I think it’s because I feel like I am part of their lives by being ‘in the know’. They of course – don’t even know I exist – unless of course they have read the thousands of twitter messages I sent them (just kidding – I only sent a few hundred).

If you haven’t noticed, Demi is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous. According to OK Magazine (not the best source), in an effort to keep her body in the best shape possible, Demi spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on expensive fitness trainers and gym memberships. (It’s working).

Her hairstylist Tara Smith explained:

“No one has better hair than Demi. It’s naturally jet black, not one grey! I attribute it to her healthy lifestyle. She drinks loads of water, eats greens and seaweeds. She doesn’t carry a lot of stress.”

Her make-up artist Erin Ayanian Mon said:

“She has flawless skin. There’s nothing to cover up. We just give her skin a glow with a creme blush and use a lot of sunscreen.”

Whatever Demi is doing is definitely working.

Jennifer Hudson gave a flawless preformance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII. This is her first public appearance since the October slayings in Chicago of her mother, brother and 7 year old nephew. Her brother-in-law has been charged in the killings.

Hudson is now expected to resume her active work schedule. Jennifer, who won an Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in “Dreamgirls,” is scheduled to perform at next week’s Grammy Awards. And her new video for “If This Isn’t Love” is set to debut the week of Feb. 9.

Bruce Springsteen – Raises The Roof At The Super Bowl Halftime Party

Bruce and the E-Street band didn’t disappoint at the much anticipated halftime show. Bruce opened his 12 minute performance to a very energized crowd in Tampa, Florida with “10th Avenue Freezeout” which led right into his classic “Born to Run”. He then performed a brief segment of “Working on a Dream” ,the title track of his just-released album. Springsteen and the band closed with “Glory Days”. The 59-year old Bruce looked like he could have played all night but was restricted by time constraints.

“I think it’s quittin’ time, Steve,” Springsteen laughed to guitarist Steve Van Zandt.

Steve argued a bit, but then a referee came out and jokingly flagged the band for delay-of-game penalty.

“Steve what time is it?” Bruce asked.

“It’s Boss time!” Van Zandt shouted.

This year has been Boss time. He won the Best Original Song Golden Globe for “The Wrestler”. He gave a stirring performance of his 9/11 tribute “The Rising” on the National Mall for Barack Obama’s inauguration. This week he released a new album “Working On A Dream”.
And tonight, in front of millions he rocked the house at the Super Bowl XLIII. He didn’t sing “I’m On Fire”, but he definitely is.

Olympic Hero – Michael Phelps Caught Smoking Bong – UPDATE

Michael Phelps has acknowledged that the photo showing him smoking marijuana from a bong is real.

He released this statement:

I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.

14-times Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps does not only swim like a fish but apparently smokes like a chimney. Michael, won a record eight gold medals for swimming at the Beijing games last summer, to become the greatest competitor in Olympic history.

According to News of the World, on November 6, weeks after his Beijing triumph, 23-year-old Phelps surprised students at the University Of South Carolina in Columbia by showing up unannounced at a house party.

He was visiting Jordan Matthews, a girl he was secretly seeing who was a student there.

A source revealed: “Michael came to visit Jordan but ended up just getting wasted every night.”
“Every girl wanted a piece of him and every guy wanted to be his best buddy. He couldn’t get enough of all the attention.”

Phelps’ aides went into a panic over the story and offered News of the world a raft of extraordinary incentives not to run the bong picture.

This photo could destroy his golden boy image and lucrative career.
But who needs fame and fortune when you have good friends that love to share their photos.

I have to admit to something – I have been reading Twitter quite a bit lately. When I first heard about Twitter I could not understand why anyone would want to post their every move or even better why anyone would want to read it!!

After reading Ashton Kutcher’s rant on Twitter (about his neighbor’s annoying construction noise) and Demi Moore’s sweet responses to him on Twitter, I can not stop reading his updates. It’s like that accident you can’t help but look at – you’re eyes just keeping going back there.

Anyway – I was once again seeing what Ashton was up to (we’re friends – he just doesn’t know it yet) when I noticed that he and Perez Hilton are arguing via Twitter. How funny is that. Ashton is upset about Perez’s website slamming his step-daughter, Rumer’s, appearance. I find it a bit hard to read Twitter, as I am a newbie but Check out the conversation below:

Lindsay Lohan, originally slated to star in the movie, ‘A Woman of No Importance’, has been replaced. Lindsay was signed on to star in the movie back in 2006 when she backed out of the movie to enter rehab.

Fast forward, three years later – Lindsay is sober but unemployed. The starring role is now being played by Amanda Seyfried, the star of Mamma Mia.

Lindsay doesn’t have any movies lined up – do you think Hollywood will give her another chance?? They did give Britney another chance and look how far she has come.

Britney’s Dad Gets Restraining Order Against Ex-Boyfriend and Ex-Manager

Britney Spear’s father has obtained new restraining orders against Sam Lutfi (her former manager), Adnan Ghalib (her ex-boyfriend)
and a lawyer.

People Magazine reports, Spears’s father says her cell phone records show “numerous telephone conversations” and text messages with her ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

“[Britney] innocently informs [Ghalib] of her destinations and he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit,” Jamie Spears says. “[He] is harmful to Ms. Spears and to her recovery.”

The restraining orders forbid Lutfi and Ghalib from contacting Spears or coming within 250 yards of her, her property or family members.

Britney has really turned her life around over the last year – a platinum album and a huge concert tour – let’s hope she continues on this great path.

Ashton Kutcher Goes Off On His Neighbor – Anyway Possible

Ashton Kutcher was woken up at 7 o’clock Thursday am by construction taking place at his next door neighbor’s home. Ashton was completely outraged and decided to video tape the incident, post it on qik, and post some nasty comments on his twitter page.

Ashton yelled some expletives into the video. Some of the cleaner comments included,

Jennifer Aniston Offers Dating Advice

With all of the press surrounding Jennifer Aniston’s upcoming movie, ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, the topic of dating has come up quite a bit.

Jennifer spoke to MTV News about dating and the constant scrutiny of the tabloids,

“It’s not fun. You could end the date and shake hands with them and realize it doesn’t work, and all of a sudden you’re a new couple.”

That can’t be easy.

Jennifer did offer a great dating tip,

“Never order a cherry tomato! I was on a date with this guy … there was a cherry tomato and he bit into it and it was all over my white dress. So that was just one side note. No cherry tomatoes!”

I have to agree with Jennifer, I had the same experience on a date with my now husband – except I bit into the tomato and it was all over my face. Embarrassing is an understatement.

Jennifer is certain she’s unlocked the key to a blissful partnership,

“I think I’ve found that relationships are only going to work out when you’re really yourself and you’re not posturing in any way. You’re just honest with who you are… There’s a difference between compromising something and compromising yourself.”

According to Billboard.com, Kelly Clarkson has made history on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 with her new single taking the largest leap to No. 1 in the chart’s 50-year history.

Kelly’s ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ will go from #97 on the chart to #1 after selling 280,000 digital downloads in its first week of release in the U.S.!

This is the second time Kelly has set the record for the largest jump to No. 1.

Last October, Joaquin Phoenix declared he was giving up his acting career to reinvent himself as a rapper. On Jan. 16, Joaquin made his debut as a rapper at Las Vegas’ Lavo nightclub. While sporting a rather unattractive, unkempt beard he went on stage to preform three rap songs to a bewildered audience. He stumbled off stage less then fifteen minutes later.
At the time, most believed it is a hoax or that he needs to revisit rehab.

Two people close to Joaquin Phoenix tell EW that the actor’s recent attempt to reinvent himself as a rapper is not what it appears to be.

Following the Las Vegas fiasco, Joaquin told a source,

‘It’s a put-on. I’m going to pretend to have a meltdown and change careers, and Casey is going to film it,’”

Though Phoenix’s interest in music is sincere, with this supposed career reboot he is trying to both lampoon pompous actors and punk the media that covers them.

“It’s an art project for him,” says a source. “He’s going full out. He probably has told his reps that he’s quit acting. Joaquin is very smart. This is very conscious. He has a huge degree of control.”

I’m not sure the purpose of Joaquin’s hoax – but it is definitely giving him a lot of attention and publicity. Why do you think he is doing this??

DeAnna Pappas Interview – Part II

Last week I posted the first part of my interview with DeAnna Pappas, the former Bachelorette, and current co-host of Get Married.
The first part of the interview focused on DeAnna’s USO Tour to Iraq – the second part of the interview focuses on the personal side of DeAnna.

I asked DeAnna where she saw herself five years from now, both professionally and personally (I know the typical interview question):
DeAnna stated,

“Professionally all of my dreams have come true. ‘Get Married’ is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Personally, I still want to fall madly in love and be married. I still want kids, I still want to find that someone that completes me.”

As to the many articles that have been written about DeAnna “Going Hollywood”, there could be nothing further from the truth. DeAnna’s life is as “normal” as it gets in her hometown in Georgia. She does her own cooking, cleaning, laundry and food shopping and best of all, she still drives her Honda. This sounds like the same down to earth girl we all saw on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

DeAnna is very protective of her personal life and doesn’t like to discuss the reason her relationship with Jessie Csincsak did not work out. She is not willing to explain that to anyone and would like to keep it private.

I asked DeAnna if the rumors about her dating former reality star, Ace from the Real World, were true – she giggled before saying,

“We are good friends.  He is a great guy we met a few months back… a wonderful guy.  He owns the bar, Flip Flops.”

DeAnna is still in touch with a lot of the “guys” from the Bachelor and when asked about her relationship with Jason Mesnick, the #2 man on the Bachelorette and the current Bachelor, DeAnna stated:

“Jason is a very good friend, we have become the best of friends.”

As to the reason for  her return to The Bachelor, DeAnna was very coy and said,

“We will have to just wait and see.”

That is one episode of The Bachelor that I can not wait to see!!

 

 

Since When Did a Woman’s Weight Become Newsworthy?

This question was posed by Ashlee Simpson.   Ashley has taken to her blog to discuss the topic of the week, Jessica Simpson’s weight. The photo that caused the controversy can be found here.  (I personally think the pants are the problem).

“I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.

All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.

Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend?

I seriously doubt it.

How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?

Now can we focus on the things that really matter.“

I agree with Ashlee, should Jessica’s weight make headlines?

Mickey Rourke and Evan Rachel Woods Share A Kiss

Mickey Rourke and Evan Rachel Wood were caught kissing. It wasn’t the kind of kiss you would see on ‘The Wrestler’, a father/daughter kiss. It was a romantic kiss – the kind of kiss you read about in books, or see on the soap operas. So why is it making news??

Evan Rachel Wood is 21, Mickey Rourke is 56. That is a huge age difference.

Stranger things have happened – after all, this is Hollywood. Evan Rachel Wood, 21, made the headlines last year after she started dating Marilyn Manson (19 years her senior) but since their split in December has she now moved on to 56-year-old veteran actor Mickey Rourke?

The two attended Grey Goose’s Official SAG after-party on Sunday evening but were spotted leaving together. According to Fox News, Evan went upstairs with Mickey when he suddenly grabbed her for a lip-lock in the outside area of the Four Seasons hotel.

The pair have been romantically linked since she played his daughter in “The Wrestler,” although Wood always denied that they were anything more than friends.

Reps for Rourke and Wood did not respond for comment.

Evan Rachel Woods is a young, beautiful woman with an interesting choice in men. What do you think of Evan’s choice in men??

Jessica Alba Has Some Fighting Words for Bill O’Reilly

Jessica Alba has taken to her blog to express her unhappiness with Bill O’Reilly and TMZ.

Bill O’Reilly called Jessica dumb when she answered a reporter’s question with a question, claiming that Sweden was a neutral country.

Here are some excerpts from her blog:

“I want to clear some things up that have been bothering me lately. I find it depressing that in the midst of perhaps the most salient time in our country’s history, individuals are taking it upon themselves to encourage negativity and stupidity. Last week, Mr. Bill O’Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people…it’s so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland. I appreciate the name calling and the accurate reporting. Keep it up!!”

Jessica then referred both Bill O’Reilly and TMZ to look on Wikipedia for the accurate information.

Being in the public eye can not be an easy thing. Especially when everything you say or do is examined for accuracy. Jessica has written some fighting words – what do you think? Should Jessica have let it go or is she right to fight back??

He’s Just Not That Into You

This is one movie that I CANNOT wait to see – especially after seeing all of the press surrounding it.

Where else can you see Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johannson and Ginnifer Goodwin in one room discussing dating. It’s like a slumber party without the pajamas.

My own personal favorite, Ben Affleck, is also in the movie along with Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Justin Long and Bradley Cooper – this makes me want to run to the theatre on February 6th.

Jennifer, Drew, Scarlett, and Ginnifer (Chris Klein’s ex) sat down with Extra and discussed what else but dating. Here are their opinions on what it means to date: Jennifer said, (I am not sure what that means – but this is what she said.)

I think it’s just hard to date. It’s not like we’re kids. We’re not dating.”

Scarlett, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, stated, Drew said,

“Dating to me is like you’re with somebody and you’re committed to them. And you have date night, and it’s romantic,”

“I like dinner. I like to be asked on a date. I like tradition.”

David Beckham Being Sued by Photographer

According to E! News, a photographer had been trailing David Beckham and wife,Victoria, when David got out of his car and approached the paparazzo’s vehicle, enticing him to come out. When the photographer, Da Mata, refused to budge, David’s bodyguard went around to the passenger side and started throwing punches.

As a result, David is being sued by the photographer.

Emicles Da Mata claims he suffered serious injury at the hands of Beckham’s right-hand man, stating in court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court that on Dec. 7 the bodyguard beat him repeatedly, grabbed his camera and threw it in a trash can.

At the time of the incident, a police report was filed but there weren’t any official charges brought up on David. I guess after giving it some time and really thinking about all those dollar signs, the photographer decided it can’t hurt to try and get some of that money for himself.

Do you think there should be a law as to how close the paps can get to the celebrities without their permission?? Three to six feet seems reasonable to me.

The Bachelor – And Then There Were Five

There are nine remaining bachelorettes fighting to the very end for Jason’s heart.

The first date for the evening was a one-on-one date where they had to “sing for their supper”. They had to compose and perform a song for Jason. This sounds familiar – didn’t the Bachelors have to do the same thing for DeAnna Pappas, the Bachelorette?? Jason chose Molly for an intimate dinner date at the Bachelor pad. To everyone’s shock, she does not return from her date – instead she spent the night camping with Jason.

The first date for the evening is the group date. The group date is with Naomi, Shannon, Lauren, Melissa, Jillian and Megan on the set of General Hospital (my favorite soap opera). The bachelorettes get to act out their secret fantasies with Jason. Oh boy – Jason kissed all the women – and I mean kissed. Megan’s kiss was a bit much for the other women to handle – it looked like she was clawing at him. Of course – what would a group date be without the crying. As Jason said, “Everyone is An Emotional Mess”.
To summarize the group date – Naomi cried, Melissa cried, Shannon cried and begged for a rose and Lauren demanded a rose. Megan and Shannon both wanted a romantic kiss – to their disappointment -Jason gave them a friendly kiss. Naomi received the rose on the group date.

One on One With Chase Crawford

I wish it was me who had the one on one interview with Chase Crawford but unfortunately it wasn’t – FabulousMag was the lucky one. He is so very handsome hot. Enough drooling.   Here are some of the more interesting questions and answers that were asked:

When was your first kiss? When I was 10. It was my best friend’s twin sister. We were on a summer camp and every other guy had a girlfriend apart from me, so we got together. I was a bit of an awkward kisser, but she ended up being my first girlfriend, so I can’t have been that bad!

(Talk about getting down to the nitty gritty – celebrities usually stay away from these types of questions.)

But if it was life or death, which male celebrity would you snog? (It’s a magazine in the UK – snog is not a widely used term in the US) If you were holding a gun to me? I would run away.

Do you ever say the ‘L’ word? It depends on the girl – there haven’t been too many though. I’m not looking to fall in love and I don’t have a type, I just look for instant attraction. I’m 23 and living in Manhattan so, believe me, I’m very much having fun being single.

Do you want to change anything about yourself?

I’m always on my phone, always texting. I wish I could switch off more and have more time to myself.

There’s been gossip that you had a gay affair with your co-star Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass. Was it true?

No. It blows my mind that there’s some cultural fascination trying to out people. It’s hilarious.

Theft on the Set of Lipstick Jungle

Lipstick Jungle, starring Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price, and Kim Raver has been the victim of theft. A stage manager has been charged with stealing nearly $30,000 in designer goods from the show’s set.

Arthur Moreira was arrested after officers purchased missing set items online in a sting operation, according to New York’s Brooklyn district attorney’s office.

Among the items stolen include an Oscar de la Renta snakeskin bag, Gucci coats and designs by French fashion house Sylvia Toledano, whose employees alerted police after finding limited items by the designer for sale on eBay.com.

Lipstick jungle does have some beautiful designer clothes – but stealing them!! Yikes.

The Bachelor – Tonight’s Preview

There are nine remaining bachelorettes vying for Jason’s heart.

To earn the one-on-one date tonight they have to “sing for their supper”. They must compose and performe a song for Jason. This sounds familiar – didn’t the Bachelors have to do the same thing for DeAnna?? The Bachelor will pick the winner for an intimate dinner date at the Bachelor pad, where she attempts to persuade Jason that she is ready for marriage and being a stepmom. To everyone’s shock, she does not return from her date that night!

There is also a group date where six ladies go behind-the-scenes of ABC’s soap-opera, “General Hospital,”. I have to admit a guilty secret – I still watch General Hospital – and have been for at least 20 years. The bachelorettes get to act out their secret fantasies with Jason. Oh boy – I can only imagine what this is going to be like.

There is also a special two-on-one date when Jason takes two women for a romantic evening of ballroom dance lessons and waltzing under the stars. He must give a rose to one woman, sending the other home immediately.

Finally, Jason makes a shocking last minute decision at the rose ceremony. This is one episode I have to watch.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Happy In Love

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were together at the Screen Actors Guild awards. Both were nominated for their leading dramatic roles: Angelina for Changeling, and Brad, for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

That is some POWER couple. They took to the red carpet at the SAG Awards where they discussed their films and of course each other.

Angelina was asked if she likes having Pitt as her date at award shows (Is there anyone out there that wouldn’t?),

“We’ve been doing it together for four years – it’s aways nice. I don’t think I’d want to be doing it alone. It’s nice to be doing it with your best friend … and have a laugh in the middle of the show.”

When asked how Brad has changed her, she said that

“he’s a wonderful man … the person I admire the most in the world. I think he is extraordinary.”

Brad also spoke about Angelina as a mother,

“amazing … a fantastic mother.”

I have to ask the question again – Is there anyone out there who wouldn’t want Brad Pitt for their date?? If you could choose any of the stars to go on a date with who would it be??

SAG Awards 2009

Another exciting Awards show. This time it was the 2009 SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards. The usual star sightings for the 2009 awards shows, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Laurie all turned out for the event.

Sean Penn and Meryl Streep both won leading actor awards. Noticed I did not use the word BEST.

According to Meryl,

“There is no such thing as the best actress,” she said. “There is no such thing as the greatest living actress. I am in a position where I have secret information that I know this to be true. I am so in awe of the work of the women this year – nominated, not nominated – so proud of us girls. Everybody wins when we get parts like this.”

Once again ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won for outstanding cast in a motion picture, making it very likely that the movie will win for Best Picture at the Oscars.

Prince Harry and Girlfriend Breakup

After dating for 5 years, Prince Harry and Chesly Davy have called it quits.

This is just 3 three weeks after the couple spent a romantic holiday together in the Indian Ocean nation of Mauritius.

A royal source stated,

“They are remaining friends, there have been all sorts of reasons given [for the split] but suffice it to say they felt that it had run its course.”

According to the British newspaper News of the World, Chelsy made the decision to break up after tiring of the prince’s playboy antics.

The pair met through mutual friends in 2004 and conducted a long-distance relationship for three years while Chelsy studied at a university in Cape Town, South Africa, and Harry was enrolled at Britain’s Sandhurst military academy. Harry is now embarking on a 2½-year course with the Army Air Corps in helicopter pilot training.

Long distance relationships are never easy. Especially one that is constantly being scrutinized. Has anyone been in a long distance relationship that worked??

Dakota Fanning Keeping Her Fingers Crossed for ‘New Moon’

“New Moon”, part of the ever popular Twilight series, is still casting but there is talk that Dakota Fanning is currently negotiating for the role of Jane, a member of the deadly Volturi vampires from Italy, where much of “New Moon” takes place.

If she does get the part, Dakota said she won’t have to spend too much time in the makeup chair.

Access Hollywood spoke to Dakota who said,

“I don’t think they’ll have to put a lot of makeup on me,” she joked. “I’m pretty white already.”

Dakota added that doing the film would give her a boost with her “Twilighter” pals.

“Pretty much all my friends are pretty big fans, so it would be great,”

“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will all be reprising their roles in “New Moon,” which goes into production in March.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are Moving To New York??

I know I JUST posted an article about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt but I HAD to write this article because I am from New York and the possibility of living thisclose to Angelina and Brad is way cool.

There are rumors all over the place that Angelina and Brad are going to move to Lloyd Neck Harbor, New York while Angelina films her latest movie, Edwin A. Salt. Filming is said to last through the summer. They will be renting the Lloyd Neck estate known as Sassafras, which is on the market for more than $60 million. The 48-acre estate once made the Forbes list of the 10 most expensive homes in North America. I wonder if they’ll even leave their estate since the property has three houses — one at 22,000 square feet — as well as two helipads, tennis courts, a pool, and a private cove with a dock. With all that – they don’t have any reason to leave.

This isn’t their actual house – but it may as well be.

Anyone else from New York hoping to catch a glimpse of this iconic couple??

Mariah Carey a No Show for the Inauguraton

According to Page Six, Mariah Carey was furious when she found out where she’d be seated for the inauguration. A spy said, “Mariah was in the VIP area, where every celebrity, like Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen, was seated. But somehow she thought she’d be up with the Obama family. When she realized she wasn’t, she bailed.”
What would make Mariah think she would be seated with the Obama family??

Another unhappy celebrity was Sean Combs (Puffy, P. Diddy, etc) who was said to be upset also because he wasn’t invited to perform at official events and he was disappointed that Jay-Z had a bigger presence.

I am always amazed at the size of some of the celebrity’s egos. The inauguration was a historic event that many people would have been happy to attend – no matter where they were sitting. What do you think??

Anne Hathaway Discusses Other Celebrity’s Figures

Anne Hathaway has recently been criticized for being too skinny, although Anne insists she is a “normal shape”. Or maybe just a “normal shape” for Hollywood.

According to Contact Music, Anne has praised Scarlett Johannsson, Beyonce Knowles and Reese Witherspoon for their curvy figures, praising them as being good role models for youngsters and projecting healthy body images in a world where super-slim is often seen as an ideal.

Anne says,

“I don’t think it’s just Hollywood that gives out that message. As a society we put out these unrealistic body images to young women. But I’m a normal shape and Scarlett Johansson is not a skinny, skinny girl. Beyonce Knowles looks after herself and has a beautiful body. Reese Witherspoon looks great.”

I’m wonder how all the women are going to feel after they read this quote. Especially, Scarlett who has been criticized in the past for her curvy figure. What do you think??

Angelina Jolie’s Bodyguard to Write Tell All

It looks like we are going to have another person involved in the he said, she said saga between Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

Angelina Jolie’s former bodyguard is planning a tell-all book which will set out to prove that Angelina moved in on partner, Brad Pitt while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

According to In Touch Magazine, Angelina is trying to block the expose which will also tell all of the intimate details of her courtship and sex life with Brad.

The bodyguard was reportedly fired by Brad Pitt in 2008.

A source tells In Touch, the bodyguard never signed a confidentiality agreement and could be in the clear when it comes to revealing all about the Hollywood couple.

At this point I can’t help but think – Does it I really matter?? It’s been a few years since Brad and Jen were together and telling everyone the “details” is not going to reunite them.  Is it going to stop anyone from seeing either Angelina or Brad’s movie??   What do you think -  would you want to read the “tell all”??

Sex in The City Sequel Confirmed!!

Finally – It has been confirmed – there will be a movie sequel to Sex in the City.

According to US Magazine,

“Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board, it just happened.”

We shouldn’t be surprised since the 2008 Sex in the City Movie grossed $150 million.

Sarah Jessica Parker had said previously

“It’s all about the story,” she said. “If we can’t tell a story that’s really worthy of an audience, then we won’t do it.
We’ve been really lucky at this point. We’ve been in people’s good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story.”

Academy Award Nominations Announced Today

The Acamedy Award nominations were announced this AM. This should have been up this morning but the day has gone way too fast to achieve my goal of getting the articles out on a timely basis. Sorry about that!!

This year’s most nominated film was “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with 13 nominations and Meryl Streep extended her lead as the most nominated performer with her 15th nomination.

As always, there were a couple of surprises associated with the nominations. Kate Winslet, who won two Golden Globes this year, was expected to receive two Oscar nods. She was only given one for Best Actress for “The Reader” and not “Revolutionary Road”. Heath Ledger’s, “The Dark Knight” was expected to be nominated for best film but was passed over. In the past, the Golden Globe Awards was a good indicator of who was going to be nominated for the Oscars but I guess this may no longer be the case.

An Interview With DeAnna Pappas

I had the opportunity to interview DeAnna Pappas, the former Bachelorette, and new co-host of Get Married.

What a pleasure it was to speak with her.  She is so down to earth and is the same girl that we all saw on the Bachelorette – easy to talk to, pleasant and alot of fun.

DeAnna is now the co-host of Get Married and writes for BloggerBrides, an internet site that is part of GetMarried.com. On Get Married, DeAnna is the ultimate bride’s best friend, offering brides the opportunity to share ideas, stories and experiences.  She also discusses the latest wedding planning tips and trends.

We also spoke about DeAnna’s trip to Kuwait and Iraq as part of a USO tour.  She shared a lot about the trip and what an enlighting experience it was for her and as she said,

“Iraq was one of the best things in my entire life. It was truly an eye opening experience.”

DeAnna, along with Rachel Smith (Miss USA 2007) and Christine Lakin (from Step by Step), visited 3 bases per day. They went to both the big and small bases. One of the smaller bases was in Sadr City – previously considered one of the most dangerous cities in Baghdad. Some of the soldiers had been on base for 15 months without ANY visitors. Deanna expressed her appreciation for the solidiers on Blogger Brides,

“The experience during the USO tour was very touching, especially seeing the courage and bravery of all the soldiers. You all are my heroes!”

George Clooney Headed Back to ER

People Magazine has confirmed the long awaited return of George Clooney to ER.

George will be returning to a closed set and there is no mention of how many episodes he will shoot.

ER is where George gained his fame – it’s will be nice to see him on television again.

Heath Ledger, Gone But Not Forgotten

 

 

It has been a year since the tragic and untimely death of Heath Ledger.  He was found dead at 28 from an accidental  overdose in his SoHo apartment January 22, 2008.  The year anniversary of his passing also coincides with the announcement of the nominations for the 2009  Academy Awards, for which Heath is predicted to be nominated for best supporting actor for his wicked portrayal as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Earlier this month during the Golden Globe Awards he was honored posthumously for his role in The Dark Knight.

 

“We are overjoyed for him,” his father Kim Ledger told PEOPLE of his son’s win for best supporting actor in a drama.

His brilliant career was cut short but his contributions continue to be honored.

The Bachelorette’s, Jesse Csincsak Reunites With….!!

Okay… don’t get excited – Jesse Csincsak got together with some of the other “bachelors” he met on the Bachelorette with Deanna Pappas. He also brought along the new girl in his life, Holly Durst. Holly was one of the bachelorettes on The Bachelor: London Calling with Matt Grant.

Jesse and Deanna broke up in November, Jesse then took to You Tube to speak about his heartbreak.

Jesse told People that he is not really focused on dating but that he does have a connection with Holly.

“I have a great time with Holly,” said Jesse “We’re both from Ohio, we both have a lot in common, and I think that we both really enjoy hanging out with each other.”

As for his weekend with the guys, Jesse said,

“It was awesome, man and it was cathartic. We all got to catch up, chit-chat about how things have been. It was cool, because we all had the same experience, and there’s nobody else out there that can understand what we went through except for the guys that were on the show. It was like we never left. I love those guys, no matter whatever we’re doing — be it drinking beer, playing cards, skiing, snowboarding.”

A Scavenger Hunt Followed by the Jonas Brothers

How lucky are the Obama girls.

Malia and Sasha Obama celebrated the inauguaration of their father by having some of their friends over from their new school in Washinton, Sidwell Friends. They saw two Disney movies — High School Musical 3 and Bolt — and participated in a scavenger hunt.

The scavenger hunt sounds like it was a blast. They ran around their new home, learning about this history of the White House. That would be a great activity for all kids to learn some history.

At the end of the scavenger hunt, they opened a door to discover…. the Jonas Brothers who also happen to be their favorite musical performers.

Can you imagine being a child and opening the door and seeing your FAVORITE person EVER in your house?? Dreams can come true.

Jamie Foxx No Longer Wears Diamonds

Jamie Foxx not wearing diamonds is like  Joan Rivers no longer getting plastic surgery - this is unimaginable.

Luckily it was all for a good cause.

Jamie Foxx has decided to ditch his trademark diamond earrings to protest the use of conflict gems in jewelery.

Jamie wears big stones in each of his ears, but  insists he has now ditched real diamonds after he was educated about the history of jewels mined in warzones and sold to fund conflicts or profit warlords.

Jamie revealed,  ”I now wear cubic zirconia. I used to wear real diamonds, but there’s too much issue about blood diamonds.”

 

Katie Holmes and Tobey Maguire to Start New Movie Projects

Here are a couple of news items as it relates to our favorite “movie” stars:

Katie Holmes has signed up to star in the comedy, The Extra Man. Also starring in the movie will be Paul Dano, John C. Reilly and Kevin Kline. The movie is based on a Jonathan Ames novel, about a failed playwright who decides to work as an escort for wealthy widows.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in Feb ‘09 in New York.

Tobey Maguire is set to produce (and hopefully star in) ‘Good People’. “Good People” is about a couple in debt from several rounds of futile fertility treatments who think their problems are solved when they stumble upon money found in their deceased tenant’s apartment.

Extortion Attempt For John Travolta

How awful!! During a time of terrible grief – this is the last thing that the Travolta family needs.

According to Contact Music, Police in the Bahamas have launched an investigation surrounding an attempt to extort money from John Travolta.

Police have brought two people in for questioning, and one is believed to be a politician.

The extortion attempt has been confirmed by John’s lawyers and is connected to the death of John’s son Jett who passed away on January 2, 2009.
In a statement to the Jacksonville Florida Times-Union, the attorneys reveal,

“Regrettably, in a time of such terrible grief, there are often a few individuals who attempt to make false claims in hopes of making millions of dollars. We will never let that happen.”

 

 

I can’t believe that one of the possible suspects is a politician no less.   How terrible that someone is trying to gain from the Travolta’s loss. Disgusting, simply disgusting.

Shia LaBeouf’s License Suspended for One Year

According to Access Hollywood as a result of Shia LaBeouf refusing to take a breathalyzer test following a car accident in July 2008, his driver’s license has been suspended for one year.

At the accident site, the police thought that Shia seemed to be under the influence but they could not charge him since there wasn’t enough evidence.

Not only was his left hand injured but now his license has been suspended. I guess he has learned two valueable lessons – don’t drive under the influence (if he was) and always listen to the police.

Marcia Cross’ Husband Diagnosed With Cancer

According to People Magazine, Tom Mahoney, Marcia Cross’ husband has been diagnosed with cancer.

Marcia and Tom were married in 2006 and have twin girls.

Marcia’s rep stated,

“He is currently under treatment and is responding very well,”

Our heart goes out to Marcia, Tom and their family during this difficult time.

Lily Allen Sends Embarrassing Text

Lily Allen accidentally texted a photo of herself topless to the Kaiser Chiefs, Ricky Wilson’s, mobile phone.

Can you say OOPS!!  How embarrassing is that??

She told the story on Radio 1’s Chris Moyles Show when the host revealed he knew about the upfront text.

Lily admitted, “That was really embarrassing. I was completely topless.”

Who was the text intended for – Lily joked: “It was meant for Rick Astley.”

I try to be very careful when sending e-mails, text messages, etc. but sometimes you hit send and then realize – Oops!! I sent that to the wrong person.  What embarrassing text, e-mail have you sent that you wish you didn’t??

Britney Spears Signs Book Deal

According to the Daily Mirror, Britney Spears has signed a book deal worth more than $15 million dollars.

Britney will start writing the book following her sold out world “Circus” tour.

A source was quoted as saying,

“There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome – until now. And some of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. She’s kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to.”

“If the deal goes ahead she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade – it’s one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history.

 

With the way Britney is followed by photographers and the tabloids I thought we already knew EVERYTHING there is to know about her. This should be an interesting read. What do you think??

Episode 3 – Drama, Drama and More Drama.

Jason had his one on one date with Stephanie. First they went to the beach where he surprised her by bringing her daughter Sophie to visit. Jason was in tears watching the reunion between Stephanie and Sophie. They then went to Legoland. Jason gave Stephanie a rose made of legos. How cute was that!!

Jason seemed really into the whole idea of feeling like a family. Jason even said that’s exactly what he’s looking for and its a huge part of his life. I know that whoever he picks is going to be a mother to Tye but I feel like that is Jason’s primary concern. Do you think that’s the right way to go about looking for a wife??

The next date was a group date. Jason and 8 women – Shannon, Nikki, Melissa, Erica, Jillian, Megan, Kari, Naomi. They all made casts of their busts (including Jason) to be auctioned off, with the proceeds going towards breast cancer.

Shannon requested Jason’s help to apply her cast – she thought it would be a great chance for some one on one time. When they were finished,

Shannon said, “It felt good to have him rub my body.”.

Do you think she will feel at all embarrassed when she sees the show – the only word I can think of to describe the whole seen is “desperate”. What lengths would you go to for a rose??

Nikki told Jason that she was a control freak and a perfectionist (with regard to her bust painting). Based on Jason’s body language, I would have to say that if Jason could have ran he would have.

Jason’s one on one date with Natalie was the most romantic date. From jewels, to a private jet to Las Vegas, to a helicopter ride. Every girl’s dream. Jason was trying so hard to make a connection with Natalie but in the end felt nothing.
Jason did pick up the rose as if he was going to give it to Natalie – but ended up telling her that he couldn’t give it to her because it just wasn’t there for him. Natalie called him out on that move and told him that it was sneaky.

I’m not sure if we should call these surprising facts or just too much information:

Melissa told Jason that she had breast reduction surgery.
Naomi told Jason that she has only given herself to one person.

Awkward Moments:

Jason and Nikki’s Kiss – Nikki went in for the kill unexpectedly – it looked like Jason was going to turn his head initially but then changed his mind.
Jason and Erica were talking when Erica caught Jason looking at her “boobs”. Jason claimed he was just looking at the color of her dress. (Yeah right).

Who Went Home: Natalie, Erica and Kari

Another interesting episode of the bachelor. I am still up in the air as to who Jason will pick. Any thoughts on who the “right” one for Jason may be??

George Clooney Finally Appears on the Ellen Show!!

Finally – George has made an appearance on the Ellen Show!! Woo Hoo!!

George Clooney made it to the Ellen Show today (it was pre-taped) and it was nothing short of spectacular. I loved that George was introduced to the show with the song, “Mr. Bigstuff – Who Do You Think You Are??”

George was wooed to the show by two former Cincinnati Reds Baseball players.

Ellen asked George,

“Have people been informing you every step of the way of what we’ve done [to get you here]?”

“Informing me is not really what I would call what my office has been doing. Ah, complaining,” George replies. “They were a little concerned when that marching band came in. … The trombone player hurt someone, as always.”

George also stated, “People do come up to me all the time and say, ‘What’s wrong with you, man? Why don’t you go on Ellen’s show?’ [And] I say I haven’t been in town, which I haven’t been in town for a long time. I haven’t really … (cough, cough, laugh)”

Loser of the Year for 2008 Is……..

Amy Winehouse has won again. For the second year in a row – Amy Winehouse has been crowned the Loser of the Year for 2008. And we are not talking about her weight.

Virgin Media Music polled 3,000,000 people and Amy took the prize. It’s been a rough year for Amy. She has battled drugs, been in and out of rehab and is going through a divorce.

Does anyone feel bad for her or do you think she is part of the problem??

Uma Thurman Sure Does Like to Dance

Uma Thurman likes to dance and practice yoga. Apparently it doesn’t matter where she is either.

During a flight from New York to Salt Lake City, Utah (for the Sundance Film Festival) Uma decided to get up during the flight and practice some dance moves and yoga.

A witness told the New York Post,

“She used the flight-attendant station as a ballet bar, where she stretched and did plies for 20 minutes.”

That’s where her health consciousness ended. According to the onlooker:

“After we left the plane, she ran for an exit and then chain-smoked like crazy.”

The whole thing sounds a bit odd to me. Has anyone ever danced or done yoga in an odd place – in the middle of a store, in a waiting room?? I haven’t – maybe I should try it.

Courtney Love Has Chosen Her Daughter’s First Date

Too bad he doesn’t know about it yet.

According to the Daily Mail, Courtney Love’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, is a huge fan of Robert Pattinson.

Courtney seems to believe that Frances and Rob would make a great couple. She is desperate to set her 16-year-old daughter up with Rob – even though he is 22-years-old.

Most mother’s would be trying to keep their 16 year old daughter away from a 22 year old boy – but then again we are talking about Courtney Love.

Kendra Wilkinson Feels Bad About Saying Too Much

I am not surprised that Kendra Wilkinson has said too much about Hugh Hefner and Playboy in her latest interview with US Magazine – I am surprised that she feels bad. Kendra never seemed to be the type to regret putting her foot in her mouth.

Kendra spoke to E!News so that she could clear up her remarks about living with Hugh Hefner.

“I’m more upset at myself with what I said. I’m really bad at interviews, and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm…I’m a goofball. Mostly, I’m very sorry to have hurt Hef…Playboy made me who I am, and Hef has done more for me than anyone else.
In my heart, I will always love Hef and Playboy.”

Kendra knows that Playboy and The Girls Next Door made her “famous”. The only thing to do in this instance is to admit that she said too much and of course apologize profusely.

Kendra she stopped by the Mansion to apologize in person.

“Hef was hurt, but he understands. He knows me and knows what came out of the article was not me at all.”

I’m not sure what that means – how was the article not me at all??

As for the cheating part and going elsewhere for sex:

“I said that I snuck sex every now and then, and I can’t take that back,”

Whether Hugh will walk her down the aisle at the mansion is still up in the air.

“I’m still trying to think about all that stuff,” she says. “I am waiting for Hank [Baskett, of the Philadelphia Eagles]. After the Super Bowl, he’ll come out and live with me, and we’ll start planning the wedding and start thinking about all of those things like who is going to walk me down and where it’s gonna be.”

Jerry O’Connell Introduces His New Twins

Jerry O’Connell was on Live with Regis and Kelly today as the guest co-host for Regis Philbin.

He introduced the two newest additions to his and Rebecca Romijn’s family, Dolly and Charlie.

Jerry was very humorous stating,

“The second you have kids, you can’t help but be like, ‘I happen to have some photos of my children.’ ”

I know the feeling – just wanting to show everyone how cute your kids are (or at least how cute you think your kids are).

He also said:

“These are my first kids and Rebecca’s first kids, and you can’t imagine just having one. It’s so much fun to have two of them. You throw them in the crib and they just play with each other.”

I love hearing from first time parents. It’s all so new and exciting. Aren’t the kids beautiful??

Ellen Has Finally Caught Her Man George

FINALLY!! Ellen DeGeneres has finally done it – George Clooney is going to appear on her show. She has hounded him for months.

I really like love the Ellen show. One of my dreams (or should I say fantasies) is to be on the Ellen show – in the audience, in the lobby, a guest – you name it. I’m wondering if I hound Ellen enough – like she did to George – if I could snag an invite to her show. The only thing is I can’t afford to send a marching band or the Chippendales to her show.
Finally, with her New Year’s motto “George is Mine in ‘09,” the talk-show host got what she was after, with Clooney’s appearance set to air Monday.

According to People Magazine, Ellen asked George,

George is scheduled to be on the show on Monday. Don’t forget to set the DVR’s.

Fact or Fiction – John Mayer to Propose to Jennifer Aniston

The source – Star Magazine (we all know how I feel about using them as a source) – hence the title Fact or Fiction.

The big “surprise” is supposed to take place on Jennifer Aniston’s 40th birthday, February 11th. John Mayer has invested in a custom made ring for the big day.

I don’t know if I am ready to believe this rumor yet. I still have a hard time trusting John since the 1st time he and Jennifer were dating. That was a huge fiasco for more press time for John.

Natalie Portman’s Surprising New Friend!!

Natalie Portman is one of my favorite actresses. I have to confess I like her because we both are from the same island – Long Island. I love reading about the stars that come from my neck of the woods (and yes – I live near Lindsay Lohan’s house on LI – I actually saw her mom Dina food shopping once).

Anyway – according to JustJared, Natalie was seen partying it up with singer Katy Perry, who is getting over her breakup with ex-boyfriend Travis McCoy.

The pair was seen at Club Bardot in LA before her performance at Hotel Cafe.

Natalie Portman and Katy Perry seem like an unlikely duo – what do you think??

Behind the Scenes of the Playboy Mansion with Kendra

The level of secrecy that Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends have kept throughout the years has always amazed me.  It was just a matter of time before one of his “girlfriends” has told us the real story of what goes on behind closed doors.

The real surprise is that Kendra Wilkinson is the one that has decided to tell all.  Kendra spoke to US Weekly about Hugh Hefner and how things worked at the playboy mansion.

Did Kendra have sexual relations with Hugh??  Kendra said that they were “intimate”.

Was Kendra faithful to Hugh Hefner?  No – “I had to have sex every now and then, so I had to kind of sneak it. Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates.”

Kendra also gave some insight as to how controlling Hugh Hefner really was.  I watched the show, The Girls Next Door and kind of got the sense that there wasn’t a lot of freedom for the girls.  They had to beg to go away for 1 night without Hef.

So controlling that staff members would keep track of her and the other ladies whenever they left the mansion.  The staff would note down the times they left and returned to the mansion in a book and Hef would review it each morning.

As Hef’sgirlfriend, Kendra received a $1,000 per week.  Kendra said,

“I hate putting my hand out, but we couldn’t have jobs other than getting appearance fees. Hef was kind of like my best friend, but a sugar daddy at the same time … Hef made me feel beautiful. Now I’m totally against [Hefner's] way of life, with three girlfriends and all of that.”

I will be totally shocked if Hugh still walks Kendra down the aisle – what do you think??

The Real Paris Hilton is Back!!

Just when I was starting to like, tolerate Paris Hilton. The days when she was dating Benji Madden and I didn’t mind reading about her.

Well it looks like the real Paris is rearing her ugly head again.

According to People, Paris was seen at the grand opening of MyHouse dancing on everything – the couches, the tables and her latest man, San Francisco Giants’ baseball star Barry Zito.

Her ex, Benji Madden was also there – sitting with Paris’ sister Nicky. That must have been a bit awkward.

I can’t understand how Paris can jump on her latest man when her ex is in the house. Can someone please explain??

Divorce is Not An Option for Jennifer Lopez

When Jennifer Lopez failed to wear her wedding band to the Golden Globe Awards, the rumors continued about the rift in her marriage to Marc Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez insists she was just making a fashion statement.
She tells In Touch Magazine,

“Every time I’m not wearing my ring, people think I’m getting divorced. That’s crazy. It just didn’t go with the dress.
“Divorce is not and was never an option.”

I have never heard of a diamond not going with a dress – especially the rocks that Jennifer Lopez owns. I guess we’ll just have to believe her when she says that divorce is not an option. Only time will tell.

Drew Barrymore Doesn’t Understand Relationships

And who could blame her. Drew had a very unconventional childhood – her parents divorced at an early age and in an interview with Britain’s OK Magazine Drew explains,

“My father was literally out of his mind and my mother was more like a friend.”

Drew has had a string of long-term relationships and has been married twice – for one-month in 1994 to a Welsh bar owner and a 15-month marriage to comedian Tom Green in 2001.

Her failed marriages have had a long term effect on Drew,

“It left me without any bearings when it came to how to live in general. That obviously affects you in terms of everything else you’re going to experience. So I haven’t had as much happiness or success in my past relationships as I would have liked. What’s helped me is having really good and close friends who I’ve always been able to rely on”

You have to feel for Drew – marriage is hard enough – Drew didn’t have any role models as a child as far as relationships go. The closest thing to a role model that Drew had was Steven Spielberg. When you thank someone at the Golden Globes for showing up when you said you would that speaks volumes.

I hope Drew figures it out and finds her one true love.

The bride’s first words to her crowd? (Since this is a family friendly website – I **** out anything that might be offensive to a reader).

“She said, ‘I’m married, b*****s!’”

When I got married those weren’t my first words – but then again i’m not Fergie. I don’t know how the crowd would have reacted had I said that.

“People were cheering and screaming. It was like being at a rock concert.”

Something tells me my parents wouldn’t have reacted quite like that. Can anyone remember the first words you spoke as husband and wife??

Jennifer Hudson to Sing at Super Bowl

E!News has reported that Jennifer Hudson will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.  This will be Jennifer’s 1st appearance since her family murder tragedy last October.  Jennifer has remained in seclusion thus far.

Besides the Super Bowl, Jennifer is scheduled to sing the songs of Neil Diamond on Feb. 6  at MusiCares Person of the Year Gala in LA.

I can’t wait to see her sing.  I am sure it is not going to be easy for her after everything she has been through.

Rob Pattinson In Trouble for Cutting His Hair

Rob Pattinson’s co-star Ashley Green spoke to E! and said,

 ”I heard he got in trouble for cutting his hair. But what can I say? I like guys with longer hair. I think he’s getting enough flack, I’m sure. I mean his every move is recorded and photographed and documented, so I’m not going to give him a hard time.”

The producers of TWILIGHT were not happy with Rob secretly cutting his famous long hair.  Rob is known for his bouffant hairdo, but was pictured out last month  sporting a much shorter, cropped style. 

The change has left producers on the vampire movie’s sequel fuming, because Pattinson has signed on to reprise his cult character in New Moon, which begins shooting in March.

 I wonder how they are going to fix this one – a wig??  Or are they going to just go with the shorter hair style??

Britney Spears is Moving!!

According to US Magazine, Britney said she wanted to move  to a:

 ” lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood,”   She wanted a home “more accessible to parks and recreation areas” for her children.

Her new home is in The Oaks community in Calabasas.

 

 

American Idol Returns For Season 8

Up first , Phoenix where 100,000 people turned out to audition for season 8 and meet the new judge Kara DioGuardi.

I laughed, I cried… no just kidding, but I did wonder if some of these people have sang in front of anyone besides themselves in the mirror. Their friends and families should be ashamed for letting them go on national TV believing they have any talent. A few performers were very impressive, 27 people were given the golden ticket-on to Hollywood.

The panel of four judges, newcomer Kara DioGuardi, who joins Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson were in agreement for most of their discussions. Until bikini girl showed up, then the votes were split down gender lines. Looks like another exciting season and maybe the birth of a new star.

Seraphina Garner Affleck!!

According to US Magazine, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have named their second daughter Seraphina.

Seraphina was born on January 6th.

I looked up the meaning of Seraphina and found this explanation on Babynamewizard:

Miley Cyrus was talking to Ryan Seacrest of the E! Show at the Golden Globe Awards when she said,

“I saw my husband, Leonardo DiCaprio. I didn’t meet him. He doesn’t know I’m his wife but I will be one day,”

All I have to say is You Never Know. Katie Holmes used to say that she was going to marry Tom Cruise and look what  happened. Watch Out Leo!!

Ali Larter Has Had Her Heart Broken

When I read about a beautiful actress having her heart broken I always find it hard to believe (even if they were 15 when it happened). In February’s issue of Cosmopolitan, Ali Larter talks about her search for love.

“Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it.”

Things changed for Ali when she met her fiance, actor Hayes MacArthur.

Ali added,

“And then I got blindsided. [Hayes] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be.”

When it comes time to plan her wedding, Larter has stated,

“I’m a big fan of glamour. It’s something I don’t think there’s enough of in Hollywood anymore. I enjoy putting on a sexy dress and heels. I want to work it.”

After reading about Ali’s dream wedding it reminded me of a new show I recently saw on Lifetime Television, Get Married. They also have a great website called GetMarried.com. Get Married is hosted by Colin Cowie and Deanna Pappas. Both GetMarried.com and Get Married’s show on Lifetime provide brides and wedding professionals with inspiring ideas, quality connections and great goods to create a personalized and memorable wedding.

I think Ali Larter should use Colin Cowie and GetMarried.com to achieve the glamour of old Hollywood. Colin would do an awesome job at planning exactly what Ali is looking for to make her wedding a dream come true.

Another Restraining Order – Jennifer Love Hewitt is Being Stalked

According to Contact Music,  actress JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT  has been granted a restraining order against an alleged 62-year-old stalker.

Jennifer, the star of The Ghost Whisperer, filed a petition against David Nolte in December ‘08 at Los Angeles Superior Court stating she feared for her physical safety after he turned up at her mother’s house bearing letters and flowers.

According to court documents, Jennifer received letters from Nolte describing “delusional and violent fantasies about having sexual relations with Ms. Hewitt…marring her, impaling her and envisioning her fiancé with his head blown off.”

She also allegedly received plane tickets to Australia from Nolte, as well an itinerary for a trip he had planned for the two of them.

The restraining order, issued on Monday (12Jan09), orders Nolte to stay away from the star, her mother and former fiance Ross MCCall for three years.

How scary is that??  Stalkers are becoming way too common in Hollywood.  In the last few months, Jennifer Garner and Kirstin Dunst also received restraining orders.

The Bachelor – So Many Girls – So Little Time!!

So many girls – so little time!!  How else would you explain an episode of the Bachelor where 15 girls are vying for 1 man’s attention. 

I would say poor Jason, but I think lucky Jason is more like it.  Or maybe confused Jason would be a better choice of words.

Jason surprised the Bachelorettes by paying them a poolside visit.  Jason seems to really be enjoying himself – he was flirting with Jillian and getting back rubs from Shannon.

A rose was delivered to the girls house for Jason to hand out for a romantic date.    And the winner was………….  Jillian.  They definitely seemed to have a connection when they were chatting – so I am not surprised.  What was a surprise was Natalie breaking down in tears.  I have such a hard time understanding the tears at this point in the show.  My opinion is that the tears are out of frustration.  As a competitive person – I can understand how stressful the whole situation must be for the girls.

The romantic date was at Disney Hall, with a private performance by Robin Thicke.  Jillian is definitely a girl who likes to have fun.  And as Jason said,

“She is fun, exciting and easy to talk to.”

The next one on one date went to Melissa.   Jason’s type is Melissa ,

“She is fun, gets people going, she walks in the room and everyone is looking at her.”

 Since that hasn’t worked for Jason in the past – I have no idea why he would pursue that “type” of person.

The next date was Jason and 8 woman.  He took them on a shopping spree.   From there they went to the Le Petit Hotel - lots of drinking and fighting.   Jason gave a rose to Molly,  bringing Naomi to tears.

Lisa left the show to go home since her mother has terminal breast cancer.

Who did Jason send home:  Raquel and Sharon (she quit her job to go on the show – that really stinks!!)

 Surprising facts from this episode:

Nikki only kissed 1 person in her life, her ex-boyfriend of 11 years.

Stephanie is a widow.

Next week – Stephanie goes on a date with Jason and gets a visit from her young daughter, Natalie gets the date of a lifetime and lots more bickering between the women.

Bono to Write for the NY Times

What??

That was my first reaction. Don’t get me wrong I love U2, I love Bono – but writing for the NY Times??

It is going to be an opinion column in The New York Times, where Bono will air his views on a diverse range of topics.

According to Times editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal, the column will not be a regular feature, but will appear occasionally.

Andrew say,

 

 

Bono has been a key player in raising awareness about the African AIDS epidemic. He will also record a podcast for The Times.

I can’t wait to read what Bono has to say, what about you?? Are you going to look for his column??

Golden Globe Highlights

Rather than providing a list of all of the winners for the Golden Globe Awards, I have decided to go with a summary of the evening and some highlights. Of course – I will provide a link to the winners for anyone that may be interested.

Jennifer Lopez, who looked fabulous in her very revealing gold gown, arrived with Marc Lopez but once again no wedding ring on her finger. Of course – this peaks the our interest since this is supposed to be a “sign” that their marriage is not doing well. Now we are all just confused – are they at the breaking point or not??

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both shut out and neither received the new Golden Globe – but on the positive side – they have each other. What more could you ask for??  That is an award in itself.

Heath Ledger won a Golden Globe for best supporting actor for his role as the Joker in the Dark Knight. He also expected to receive an Oscar nomination on January 22nd, – the 1st anniversary of his untimely death.

Some of the funnier moments included a speech by Tina Fey who stated,

“If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet. You can find a lot of people who don’t like you.” She then listed several screen names of her online critics and told them each to “suck it.”

Gotta love it. Thankfully, I only have good things to say about Tina.

One of the more embarrassing moments had to be for Rumer Willis. Her mom, DemiMoore was nice enough to reprimand her in front of millions. Demi told Rumor,

“Ru, I’m very proud of you and I love you. And don’t hunch. Shoulders back!”

Ouch!!

Gwyneth Paltrow is Opening A Chain of Gyms

GWYNETH PALTROW is teaming up with her personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, to launch a worldwide chain of gyms.
Gwyneth has previously produced and directed an exercise video for Tracy Anderson. Tracy also trains Madonna (Gwyneth’s BFF) – and Gwyneth appears in promotional material for Tracy’s gyms in Los Angeles and New York.

Now the business minded duo are teaming up once more to build a chain of gyms across Europe, Asia and Australia.

A source tells British newspaper the Mail ,

“Tracy and Gwyneth are out to make some serious money. She (Gwyneth) is convinced the studios will be a huge success.”

Sienna Miller is Too Thin For Russell Crowe

Sienna Miller was supposed to co-star in the upcoming movie Nottingham but her co-star Russell Crowe felt she was too slender to play his love interest.

I guess it’s easier to get a co-star with some meat on her then it is to lose weight. 

Sienna and Russell were due to star in Nottingham, which tells the story of English outlaw Robin Hood.

Crowe is to star as the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham, while Miller was due to play Maid Marian.

Sienna has since been axed from the project – because beefy actor Crowe allegedly felt her frame was too thin to play his on-screen lover.

I have a couple of things to say about this one – 1.  I should be so lucky to be too thin for anything and 2) Maybe Russell Crowe should go back to his hotness of yesteryear!!  Is it me or did he gain A LOT of weight??

The Bachelor, Jason, Speaks Out on DeAnna!!

The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick, spoke to Access Hollywood about the most recent episode of The Bachelor and of course about the clip of Deanna Pappas shown at the end of the first episode.

Although he said viewers would have to “stay tuned” and wouldn’t reveal exactly why Pappas came to see him while he was taping The Bachelor, Jason told Access that he had learned a lot about himself from his past experiences with Deanna.

When speaking about the “type” of woman he had been looking for, Jason seemed to imply that even if Deanna did visit him looking for a second chance at a relationship with him, that it was no longer an option and Deanna was no longer a good match for him.

Jason also stated,
“To have a relationship with somebody comes in a lot of different ways. Initially there’s going to be a intellectual relationship, a friendship relationship, [and] a physical attraction. I was trying to find the best balance between all those, and I didn’t have one of those pieces with some of the girls. That’s how I had to base my decision,”

As for Nikki, the girl who received his “first impression” rose,

“[She] caught my eye right away [when she got] out of the limo,” Mesnick said. “Right away Nikki and I had a good instant connection… It was really easy for us to talk to each other, especially that first night… we could talk about anything, it was really easy.”

Mesnick also made sure to say that he is not concerned with the poor relationship track record of The Bachelor’s twelve previous love matches.

“I wouldn’t have proposed to somebody if I didn’t think it was gonna work,”

Golden Globes All Set Without John Travolta

The Golden Globes are scheduled for tonight at 8PM.  A guaranteed star studded event. 

The presenters alone are reason enough to watch the show.  What a list:  Zac Efron,Jake Gyllenhaal, Salma Hayek, Pierce Brosnan, Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore, Renee Zellweger, Dustin Hoffman, Drew Barrymore, Sacha Baron Cohen, Gerard Butler, Johnny Depp, David Duchovny, Megan Fox, Eva Longoria, Eva Mendes, Jane Krakowski, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sting, Mark Wahlberg, Aaron Eckhart, the Jonas Brothers, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Hayden Panettiere, Amy Poehler, Sean Combs… to name a few.

This year they have re-designed the award – the trophy consists of an angel standing on top of a Golden Globe with a black crystal vase.  They have also included the special Cecil B. DeMille Award, which will be given to Steven Spielberg, for his “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.”

Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, Kirstin Scott Thomas and Hugh Laurie are all in the running for top prizes at the show which recognizes the best in film and television. 

Kate Winslet, Kirstin Scott Thomas, Rebecca Hall, Sally Hawkins and Emma Thompson are all nominated in the two best actress categories for their performances this year.

On a sad note, John Travolta, who is mourning the death of his 16-year-old son Jett, has canceled his appearance at the Golden Globe Awards.

John, whose latest movie, Bolt, is nominated for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for his duet with costar Miley Cyrus (”I Thought I Lost You”) — was scheduled to present.

Wedding Bells Ring For Fergie and Josh!!

People Magazine confirmed the wedding of Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Saturday, January 10, 2009.

Fergie carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals as the couple exchanged rings engraved with personal messages.

The ceremony was followed by a reception in a tent decorated as a forest of trees, with the ceiling covered in lights.

Among the invited guests were new parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, Kate Hudson, the members of Black Eyed Peas, and Josh’s Las Vegas costars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil.

The wedding week kicked off Wednesday night with a joint bachelor-bachelorette party, followed by a Hawaiian-themed rehearsal dinner on Friday.

Paris Hilton Writes Song About Her Jail Time

PARIS HILTON is using her new album to talk about her 2007 prison sentence.

According to Contact Music, Paris is planning to release a follow-up to her 2006 self-titled debut album, and has been using the songwriting process to open up about her brief stint behind bars.

Paris served 23 days of a 45-day jail sentence in June 2007 for violating probation on a 2006 drink-driving charge.

Paris has decided to write about her brief experience in jail and put it on her new album.
Paris says,

“I have another album coming out with a song I wrote like Jailhouse Baby, which is about my time behind bars.”

I have a couple of questions – Can Paris really sing? I don’t recall hearing any of her songs on the radio. Why now?? I forgot that Paris was even in jail. Publicity, publicity, publicity. Leave it to Paris – her and Benji Madden broke up and she hasn’t been in the news in at least 1 day.

Family and Friends Support the Travolta’s At Memorial Service

JOHN TRAVOLTA and KELLY PRESTON were supported by a small group of family and friends as they mourned the tragic death of their son JETT at a private memorial service on Thursday.

The 16-year-old died after suffering a seizure during a family vacation in the Bahamas on January 2nd, 2009.
.
The grieving family, including young daughter Ella Bleu, flew back to their home in Florida for the memorial service.

The tragic death of Jett triggered a string of condolences from well-wishers and Travolta’s film co-stars, with Tom Cruise struggling to find words to convey his grief on The View, saying,

“It’s horrific. Both of them are doting parents. Wonderful people.”

Photographers surrounded the home trying to get photos of the family. At this time privacy is all the family needs. I wish the photographers could forget about getting that “great” grieving photo for one moment and remember the Travolta’s are mourning the greatest loss in thier lives. What do you think???

Cindy Crawford Denies Banning Hannah Montana in Her Home

I recently wrote an article about Cindy Crawford banning Hannah Montana in her home because she felt Hannah was to blame for her 7 year old daughter speaking back to her.

Update:

Cindy has denied this recent report.

“She is a fan of ‘Hannah Montana,’” a rep for the supermodel mom said Thursday. “And she has taken her daughter to multiple shows.”

Anne Hathaway Wore A Star on Golden Globe Website

Anne Hathaway has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her performance as a recovering drug addict in the 2008 film Rachel Getting Married.

According to Popcrunch, on the Golden Globe Website the winners have a star next to their names.  Since the award show hasn’t happened yet – there should not be a star next to any of the names.

In what appears to be an error on the part of the Website – a star showed up next to Anne’s name for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama.

The star was removed a short time later.

Kevin Costner Hospitalized Over Night

KEVIN COSTNER was driving to a meeting on Tuesday morning when he felt lightheaded and dizzy.  He immediately called 911.

According to TMZ, paramedics raced to the scene and found Kevin vomiting by the side of the road.

He was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and held overnight for tests.

Costner’s publicist reported,

 ”Mr. Costner experienced some light-headedness while he was driving, was checked out at the hospital and released after tests found that everything was normal.”

That must have been scary for Kevin.  Hope he is feeling better soon.

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston Make Sweet Music

According to Star Magazine (i’ll make my usual blanket statment – remember the source), Jennifer Aniston wrote a poem for Christmas for John Mayer. As a surprise New Year’s gift, he recorded it as a song. How sweet is that!!

Ellen DeGeneres WILL Find Anne Hathaway Mr. Right!!

Anne Hathaway was on the Ellen DeGeneres show today.  A decision I am sure she is now second guessing.  Especially since Ellen offered her services:

“If you need someone, I will find you a boyfriend.  I’m really good at it.”

“You don’t even have to date,” advises DeGeneres, ”You can go straight to commitment.”

After splitting last year from her longtime beau Raffaello Follieri – who pleaded guilty in September to more than a dozen counts of money laundering and fraud – Hathaway has since hinted (but revealed nothing more) about a possible new love interest.

Anne credits her sense of humor (and she is funny about it).

 “At this point I would just like him to be law abiding,” says Anne, adding: “2008 was the year I learned to have a sense of humor about everything.”

Anne knew that the paparazzi were on her tail in the hope of catching a shot of her crying – and she refused to have them catch that shot.

“So I went to a friend’s house,” recalls Anne. “It was the first moment I could let go, and I remember sinking onto her living room floor. She came and gave me the biggest hug, and my brother was there and everyone was just surrounding me giving me so much love.”

Anne goes onto say:

“And good things come from it. I feel like, also in 2008, the whole experience made me so much closer to my family. I feel like I’m a better friend, because I had to receive so much love in 2008, so I really understand what it is now to give it. It was really a transformative experience in a lot of good ways.”

When Ellen tells her not to regret it, Hathaway replies,

“And, never do it again.”

They say laughter is the best medicine.  If you can look at a situation and be able to laugh then you are in a good place.  What do you think?

Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt Speak Out on EVERYTHING!!

They discuss everything from their cravings to their diets to working out and of course to Kendra’s husband to be Hank Bassett. 

Most of the interview revolves around food.  What do you eat for breakfast, what’s your favorite lunch food, etc.  Both Kendra and Bridget love blt’s. 

Kendra states,
 

“I love BLTs! I love BLTs with cheese and chips in it! I could seriously eat a sandwich, I could just have a toasted sourdough with chips in it, and I’ll be fine. That’ll be my sandwich.”

Bridget goes onto say,

“You know what other food I’m addicted to? Peppercinis.”

I’m not sure what peppercinis are – I have never had them. Has anyone ever tasted them?

As for Kendra’s upcoming wedding:

Kendra: I’m waiting for Hank to come down here when he’s done with his football and help me plan the wedding.

Bridget: It’s going to still be at the mansion, right?

Kendra: Yeah, we’re going to do our thing and walk it. We’re going to choose together, you know? We might do something in San Diego. We’re still thinking about it. He’s never really been to L.A. so he’s going to be with me and we’re going to walk the grounds. We’re going to walk to places and choose together where we’re going to get married. Do everything together. I’m bringing him to the mansion.

Bridget: And you choose your colors, right? They’re still going to be pink and white?

Kendra: Oh my god! Ever since we got engaged, I’ve been switching colors. I keep saying pink and white, but then I look in magazines, and I’m like, “Oh my god, look at midnight blue and white!”

The People Have Spoken!!

The people have truly spoken.  Last night was the 35th annual People’s Choice Awards.

The ceremony was hosted by Queen Latifah, who co-starred in The Secret Life of Bees, which won favorite movie drama and independent movie honors.

 This year there was a slight twist – since it is the 35th birthday for both People Magazine and the People’s Choice Awards a new award was given to mark the occassion -  The favorite star under 35 .  And the winner was……….  Carrie Underwood.

Carrie also collected awards for her music, including favorite country song (”Last Name”) and favorite country singer.  She also performed her emotional ballad “I Know You Won’t” at the top of the show.

To no one’s surprise, The Dark Knight and Heath Ledger stole the night.  The action film claimed Favorite Superhero, Favorite Movie, Favorite Onscreen Match-Up, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Cast at the climax of the event.

Batman Christian Bale and co-star Aaron Eckhart and director Christopher Nolan were given a lengthy standing ovation as they took to the stage at the Shrine Auditorium, and then Bale remembered his Joker, Heath Ledger, in his brief acceptance speech.

He said, “Here’s to Heath,” as he raised one of the awards the cast and crew were presented with to the heavens.
The Dark Knight was the last film Ledger completed before his tragic death a year ago (Jan08).

According to Star Magazine, Sarah Jessica Parker has had enough of her husband’s cheating ways and has begun house hunting in New York City — solo!

Sarah thought she could make it work with Matthew Broderick.  But unfortuately, that doesn’t seem to be the case.  She recently visited a midtown real estate broker to help her find her own place.

“The time has come when she realizes it just isn’t worth it,” a friend of the couple tells Star. “Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtain on her marriage.”

Adds another insider: “Sarah’s not stupid. She knows exactly what’s going on. For a while it was easier for her to stay than go through a harsh divorce. They’re essentially living separate lives.”

(I love when “friends” and “insiders” share the most personal information with the tabloids.  With friends like that…. you know the rest.)

Rumor has it the glue in the marriage is the couples 6-year-old son, James Wilkie.

Britney Spears rang in the New Year with her sons Jayden James and Preston at her brother Bryan’s intimate wedding in Louisiana.

It was only close family, very small and intimate.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Show a United Front!!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are making sure to get out there together and prove all of the tabloid divorce rumors wrong.

The couple, rang in the New Year together in Puerto Rico.

According to People, a reliable source stated that they are seriously considering purchasing property at Trump’s International Gulf Club Puerto Rico, where they took a tour over the holiday.

As to the fact they they have been arguing:
Both of their reps tell PEOPLE that the couple are “great,”
Insiders indicate that their marriage isn’t perfect.

“They have been having problems, like in any marriage,” says one. “They’ve been arguing.”

The likely cause? The growing pains naturally associated with raising 10-month-old twins Max and Emme.

“The marriage is experiencing frustrations because of the added stress of the twins,” says another source familiar with the situation, “but they will work things out. They love each other, and that will dictate what happens. I don’t think divorce is in the picture.”

Is there any couple out there that doesn’t argue?? I would love to meet you – because I don’t know of any couple, friend, family that do not argue.

I don’t know if there is any truth to the divorce rumor but they sure are working hard at showing a “united” front. It makes you wonder.

Brad Pitt speaks to W Magazine and says forget any potential catfight between ex, Jennifer Aniston and his current partner, Angelina Jolie

Despite Jennifer’s recent comment to Vogue Magazine in which she called Angelina ”really uncool” for revealing how Angelina couldn’t wait to go to work with the married actor on Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pitt states in the February issue of W magazine,

 ”Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”

Brad also says of Jennifer,

“We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”

As for his take on what took place with Jolie off-camera during the 2003 Mr. & Mrs. Smith shoot, he says,

“What people don’t understand is that we filmed for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t.”

He adds, “I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”

And so the saga continues. Let’s hope that’s the end of this story.

Family and Friends Speak About Jett Travolta

While John Travolta and Kelly Preston struggle to cope with their grief over the sudden death of their 16-year-old son Jett, family and friends are remembering the teen as a cheerful boy who shared his dad’s passions for flying and sailing and whose bond with his parents and sister Ella Bleu, 8, was exceptionally close.

John’s attorney tells People Magazine,

 

 

According to a family friend, the family traveled everywhere as a “unit of four”.

“John and Jett were always riding in the golf cart together and going up in the ultralight plane and just being together. Jett liked the water and he swam like a fish.”

A memorial service is planned for Thursday in the family’s hometown of Ocala, Fla.

“Jett looked at John as if he was the sun and the moon,”
“And John reciprocated.”

Britney Spears Officially Has No Control

It’s official – Britney Spears no longer has any control of herself.  How sad is that.

According to Access Hollywood, court papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, making a judge’s October ruling (which made the conservatorship over Britney permanent) official.

The conservatorship over the pop star legally began on January 5, 2009.

The agreement gives permanent control of the pop star’s finances to her father, Jamie Spears, along with attorney Andrew Wallet. While Jamie is sole conservator over Britney’s personal matters.

The papers state the following:

Britney’s finances:

“is substantially unable to manage … her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

Britney’s personal life:

“is unable properly to provide for his or her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.”

Britney’s nightmare:

Jamie Spears now has “the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means.”

I can’t imagine living my life (especially being a multi-trillionaire, having been married, divorced, having 2 children) as an adult – with my father having the authority to still “control” my life.

Supposedly Britney does not object to the arrangement. Or maybe her father told her not to object. What do you think??

The ‘Bachelor’ – Episode Two Preview

Access Hollywood was nice enough to give an update on Episode Two of the Bachelor with Jason Mesnick and I just have to share.

Here are the highlights:

Number of one-on-one dates: 2

Celebrity Showing: Robin Thick at the Walt Disney Concert Hall

Bachelor Twist: Some of the woman will not get a date at all before Jason has his next rose ceremony.

Surprises: Jason pays an unannounced visit to the ladies’ villa. He is attempting to catch the women off guard in order to find the right one to complete his family.

Catty Behavior: One Bachelorette throws ice cubes to break up his conversation with another woman on the balcony.

First Kiss of the Season: The woman who is given the 1st impression rose in episode 2.

Group Date: Jason surprises eight women with a stretch limo and a night on the town – Hollywood style. The ladies are treated to a high fashion shopping spree on Jason. From there, it’s on to a picturesque rooftop pool with a view of the Sunset Strip. The bachelorettes continue to show off for the Bachelor with an impromptu talent show, and one woman steals him away for a kiss. Not to be outdone, another woman takes charge and gets a kiss of her own.

Clash: Two ladies clash about not getting enough Jason time.

Jen and Ben Have Another Girl!!

Congratulations to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck on the birth of their 2nd daughter.  Their first daughter is Violet who is now 3.

The actress’s rep says: “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.”

The baby was born Tuesday in Los Angeles. No other details were immediately available.

No Hannah Montana in Cindy Crawford’s House

CINDY CRAWFORD has banned her young daughter from watching MILEY CYRUS’ hit TV show HANNAH MONTANA.  

According to Cindy, her daughter Kaya became rude and cocky after watching the show and she began to talk back.

Cindy says,
“I love Hannah Montana, but she (daughter) learns to be sassy from that show. I’ll say to her, ‘I don’t let anyone talk to me like that. I’ll certainly not take it from a seven year old in my own house.’”

If Cindy would like to blame it on Hannah Montana – more power to her. This also means she is going to have to home school her daughter because the things the kids pick up in school is even worse. What do you think – is Cindy delusional??

Alyssa Milano Engaged

Alyssa Milano has gotten engaged.

Alyssa will marry David Bugliari, an agent at the Creative Arts Agency. The couple have been dating for more than a year.

This will be Alyssa’s 2nd marriage. She was previously married to Cinjun Tate. The couple split in 1999.

The Travolta Family Returns Home!!

According to People Magazine,  John Travolta and Kelly Preston, along with their 8-year-old daughter Ella Blue, returned to Florida Monday night with the ashes of Jett Travolta who passed away on Jan. 2 while the family was vacationing in Grand Bahama.

Funeral plans have yet to be announced.

John and Kelly made a statement on Sunday,

 They stated we a

re “heartbroken that our time with him was so brief.”

They also thanked:  “everyone who has sent their love and condolences.”
 

Let’s hope that everyone is kind to them and respects their privacy during this very difficult time in their lives.

DeAnna Pappas Comes Back to Visit Jason!!

The Bachelor has started.  Jason Mesnick, last season’s rejected finalist, is the latest man to earn the title.

In one of the promotional clips from the upcoming episodes, the women are in frustration as the commercial reveals that there will be “one shocking return…that will change everything.”

One of the women then says “Oh my goodness, she’s here again.”   Who else could the she be – but Deanna Pappas.

Here are some scenarios as to why she would return to the show:

1) DeAnna makes a guest appearance after realizing that she made a mistake and since she has broken up with Jesse maybe its not to late for a reunion with Jason.

2) DeAnna makes a guest appearance to review the ladies who are competing for Jason’s heart.  She then sits down with Jason to provide her recommendations.

Tragic. That’s the only word I can think of to describe this nightmare. Tragic.

Things are coming along quite nicely with the tour planning. I’m SO SO SO excited for it to all come together. Yesterday, my stage designer brought over a model he made of the stage that looked like a puppet show. So, besides the fact that it’s my dream stage scaled down to a small and adorable size…. it was also fun to play with. Which even further confirms that it’s my dream stage. I’ve worked up most of the musical arrangements and transitions between songs. I can’t wait for you to see this show. I can’t wait for this summer tour.

Jett Travolta’s Autopsy is Over

The autopsy of Jett Travolta, son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston has been completed in the Bahamas.

While the official results have yet to been publicly announced, E! News has reported that a source confirmed that the preliminarily report determined

“There is no foul play.”

“It is not a suspicious death. The body wouldn’t already be turned over to the mortuary if there was anything suspicious,” the source said. “There is no foul play.”

If anything other than an accident or natural causes was responsible for the teen’s death, the body would have been held at the hospital for further tests and toxicology screenings.

A funeral service is expected Wednesday in Ocala, Fla., where the Travoltas have a home.

Oprah Blames Weight Gain on Food

In addition to Oprah’s thyroid being under active (hypo-thyroid), she is also blaming her weight gain on her abuse of food.  That will do it to you every time.  If you eat too much, not enough vegetables, too many vegetables, you name it – you will gain weight.  I speak from experience.

Oprah is ready to do something about it.

With her TV show launching Best Life Week today, Oprah is speaking out on her Website.  When it came to her 40-lb. weight gain,

“It’s not about the food.  It’s about using food – abusing food. Too much work. Not enough play. Not enough time to come down. Not enough time to really relax.”

She adds:

“I am hungry for balance. I’m hungry to do something other than work.” 

Oprah has decided to devote more time from her 14-hour workday schedule to her own well-being, including exercise. It also means she is finished making excuses for herself. 

Oprah has decided to embrace herself and states:

“This is the year of hopefulness.  My goal is to be the weight that my body can hold and be healthy and strong and fit and be itself.

“One of the things I had to learn to do is to embrace this body that I have and be grateful for what this body has given me.  God blessed me and this body. I mean, I could weep right now thinking about the love and appreciation I have for this body. For that, I am truly grateful.”
