“I can’t believe I was a fat person for most of my life,”
Ummm okay. Did you own a mirror?? Weren’t you cast as the chunky girl in Hairspray. Why the sudden surprise – that’s my question??
Ricki Lake lost 140 lbs and is holding steady.
How did she do it:
“I didn’t have surgery and I worked hard. There’s no secret. I’m active. I watch what I eat,”
With a little help from meals delivered by a service called Fresh Dining (“It’s organic, it’s fresh, and I still love it,” she says) she is able to keep the weight off.
Good meals delivered to your home – is a definite plus!! I would love to have healthy food delivered to my doorstep. The only delivery people that come to my neighborhood is pizza, chinese food or greek food.
Ricki did leave room for error by stating,
“Something tragic in my life could happen and I could balloon and gain weight. I can’t promise I will be like this forever.”
Is it me or is that statement a complete contradiction – you can’t believe you were fat, yet you can’t promise you will maintain this weight forever.
Reese Witherspoon is not into the Christmas spirit – yet!!
According to People Magazine, she has been so busy promoting her movie, “Four Christmases” with Vince Vaughn, that she says she’s
“just not getting into the spirit”
of Christmas. That happens – you get so busy, you can’t even deal with the holidays.
Ready to start her Christmas shopping, Reese Witherspoon says she’s going to set limits on the presents for her kids.
“I’m a little strict about that kind of stuff,” Witherspoon, 32, the mother of Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5, tells the BBC. “I think kids do best when they only have a couple of things that they really enjoy. I try and stay away from the gluttony of things. They don’t appreciate it as much. When they only get one or two things they really like it.”
She will be doing the cooking for Christmas and another holiday tradition that only an Academy Award-winning actress could have: the children dressing up her Oscar.
“At Christmas time they put a little hat on him and a little scarf so he doesn’t get cold.”

Don’t you love when you read an article in a newspaper and you find out later that the article was COMPLETELY wrong. I mean not even in the same country – wrong.
I probably had an inkling that there wasn’t too much truth to the “rumor” when I wrote Fact or Fiction in the headline. But still – i do feel a bit HAD!!
So as it turns out I originally wrote that Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated Thanksgiving in Florida when in fact I saw a photo on another website stating that she celebrated in London with Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. Theywere each spotted leaving a Thanksgiving party thrown by Richard Rogers at his Chelsea home in London.
I didn’t see where Chris Martin was but hopefully he wasn’t too far. I am still rooting for them!!
Britney Spears is on the cover of January’s Glamour Magazine. She looks absolutely beautiful – happy and healthy too.
The article couldn’t come at a more perfect time. It’s January’s cover. January, the time when we all think about fresh beginnings, starting over and being a better person for the New Year.
Is it possible to start over or is that just a dream?? Can people make a new beginning and if so – How do you get others to forget the old you – especially when the average person doesn’t have a staff of PR people to do it.

Rumor has it that there is some marital strife going on between Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
I am a HUGE fan of Gwyneth Paltrow and really hope that it really is just a rumor.
According to the Daily News, Gwyneth Paltrow has been staying at Jeffrey Soffer’s, the owner of the Fountainebleau Hotel, Indian Creek Island Mansion and spent Thanksgiving with him.
This is a surprise to all involved since Chris Martin has been on the road touring and was expected in London after Coldplay’s tour ended on Wednesday. One would think Gwyneth would be waiting for him with open arms.
A source has claimed, “Gwyneth has confided to friends she and Chris are taking a break.”
Where there is smoke there is usually fire – in this case I hope not!! I hope its only false rumors.
Alex Rodriguez ended up spending Thanksgiving with Madonna and his family. Before you get excited – it was not at the same time.
According to the Daily News, A-Rod was in Miami yesterday with his ex-wife and kids for Thanksgiving dinner and girl “friend” Madonna for “dessert”.
That answers the mystery question – Where is A-Rod spending Thanksgiving??
Talk about being pulled in different directions and trying to make everyone happy. Thankfully everyone was in Florida otherwise it would have been impossible to do it all!!

After all the excitement and shock surrounding the SPEIDI wedding that took place in Mexico last week – it turns out it isn’t even legal!!
Newsday reported that the couple acknowledged the wedding ceremony was not legally binding and was symbolic. Or as I see it – it was getting a little quiet over at the Hills and Heidi and Spencer wanted some press.
These two are unbelievable – they upset their families with the announcement that they eloped. Why?? They have to re-do it anyway in order for it to be legal.
Mexican law requires that a marriage license and a separate civil ceremony are required in order to make the union binding. The process in Mexico takes about 5 days. A health certificate, blood tests from a local doctor and birth certificates are needed prior to getting married.
My words of advice for Heidi – Run for Your Life. It’s Not Too Late!!It isn’t legal yet!!

Miley Cyrus is in New York for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. She will also be in town for the Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3rd.
Stepping out for some last minute shopping before the holiday, Miley Cyrus was spotted out with her boyfriend, Justin Gaston, in New York City on Wednesday night (November 26).
Miley was also with her mom and her little sister. They stopped by Serendipity 3 while out shopping. Sounds like Miley is making the most of her visit before she performs at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

According to Look Magazine, Jennifer Aniston has reportedly turned down John Mayer’s marriage proposal.
Jennifer is said to have declined John’s offer because she doesn’t want to damage their relationship. That probably won’t make much sense to the millions of people who are married – but okay.
A source said:
Jennifer told John that everything is so perfect between them right now, they shouldn’t ruin the focus of their relationship.
Despite being taken aback by Jennifer’s refusal, John is determined not to let her decision affect their romance, and still thinks they have what it takes to go the distance.
According to Look magazine:
John told Jennifer she is the girl for him and he is sure of it. He is willing to do anything she wants as long as they are together. He is like a different guy.
John was over the moon when Jennifer took him back last month and he never wants them to be apart again. He really wants to settle down with her. He wants children, marriage – the whole thing at some point.
It may not be Thanksgiving just yet – but Kirk Douglas is celebrating the Holiday a day early by hosting his annual Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless.
Along with his wife, Anne Douglas, and a host of celebrities the 91-year-old actor will be dishing out meals at the Los Angeles Mission on the corner of Wall Street at 11am.
Kirk and his wife are getting some help from a number of celebrities including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Cindy Crawford, Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Williams, Neil McDonough, Rebecca Mader, Wilmer Valderrama, Christopher Knight, Adrianne Curry, and Doug Rinehardt. I wonder if Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones will show up.

According to Contact Music, Kayne West is convinced he is still single because he is searching for a woman with porn-star looks who is also stylish, classy and refined.
The rap superstar admits to a love for adult movies and is adamant that he wants to find a love who looks like the girls in the films. He is also determined his future girlfriend should also be intelligent and share his love of fashion.
Can porno and intelligence even go together in the same sentence?? Maybe if you add the word not.

”I‘d like to just have someone I can talk to. But the problem for me is I really like porn and that type of like body style and stuff but then I’m really like super Frenchy fashion style type of guy.

There seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding where Alex Rodriguez is going to be spending Thanksgiving this year.
This afternoon I read on People.com that there was a leak from Cynthia’s (A-Rod’s soon to be ex) e-mail account stating that A-Rod was going to be spending Thanksgiving with Madonna in New York. This article has since disappeared from the website.
According to USmagazine.com, Alex Rodriguez will be spending Thanksgiving with his (soon to be ex)wife, Cynthia, and their two kids. This has been planned for quite a while and he has no intention of backing out.
Not sure which magazine is true – does anyone know for sure??
Beyonce was on the Ellen show talking about marriage, birth, and who else but Sasha Fierce (her alter-ego).
Beyonce says it wasn’t easy being in the delivery room when her younger sister Solange gave birth to her nephew Daniel, in 2004.
With reference to her nephew’s birth, Beyonce stated:
“It kind of traumatized me. I told my sister that. I said, ‘Please don’t have me in the room,’ and she said, ‘You have to – I’m your sister! Stop being so silly.’
“Well, I was right. I’m traumatized.”
Beyonce did say that ”will” have a baby of her own. That is good news. Besides being beautiful - she is so talented - that would be a waste of good genes if she didn’t.

According to the Today Show, Britney Spears is on the comeback trail.
In an interview with a reporter from Rolling Stone Magazine, the Today Show was able to get some insight into how Britney Spears is REALLY doing.
According to the reporter, Britney is heavily managed this time around. For the 1st time the reporter had to submit her questions ahead of time. There are a lot more restrictions because of the conservatorship that her father has over Britney. One topic that was not allowed to be discussed was the relationship with her father, as well as ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The reporter stated,
“She looks like she is doing great. But there is a sense that she is more muted. Britney Spears with the volume turned down.”
Britney also seens to be more stable and lucid.
When asked about motherhood and if it is different than expected, Britney stated,
“I didn’t expect my husband to leave me”
Not many people go into a relationship with the idea that their spouse will leave them. That cannot be easy.
The reporter was asked, Can Britney make a successful comeback?
“Yes. A comeback is based on the talent she has and that definitely remains.”
What do you think?? Can it be done? How many times can one person make a comeback?? We’ll have to ask Michael Jackson for the answer to that one.
SARAH JESSICA PARKER has confirmed to Access Hollywood that there are plans for a SEX and THE CITY movie sequel in 2010, but she and writer/director MICHAEL PATRICK KING are struggling to pick a storyline. Parker has revealed there are plans to shoot the sequel next summer (09), once a script has been selected.
“We’ve had very general conversations about the idea. That’s the big hurdle: the idea. The studio is very enthusiastic. We’re at the place where Michael has a wealth of stories so now it’s, ‘We think we have this story and how do we put this together and are we completely sure that it’s the right thing to do?’”
How exciting is this - a Sex in the City Sequel – I can not wait. Do you think a baby for Carrie and Big will be in the future??
It’s official. The on again – off again relationship between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is on – FOREVER.
Heidi and Spencer eloped in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico on November 20th. US Magazine, has obtained exclusive photos of the happy couple.
Heidi told US magazine,
“The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,”
I am not sure if Heidi was crying out of happiness or if she realized what she had done. Since Heidi has been with Spencer there has been nothing but drama. She is no longer BFF with Lauren Conrad and she just kicked her sister out of her apartment (her sister has moved in with Conrad – temporarily). Both incidents are because of Spencer. Not to mention the look on Heidi’s mother’s face whenever Spencer speaks. Disgust.
I hope they are truly happy together. There are already pregnancy rumors surfacing. What do you think?? Is this just another publicity stunt for an additional 15 minutes of fame??
Gwen Stefani — is making plans to get back to work.
No Doubt, the pop group Gwen has fronted since 1986, announced on their Web site that they’ll tour in 2009 to support the release of their new album. It will be the first album for the band in seven years as Gwen’s been pursuing a solo career, releasing two of her own albums (Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and The Sweet Escape).
No Doubt has been in the studio at different points during this year, but Gwen’s participation has been limited having given birth to her second son in late August. Older son Kingston is 2.
On the No Doubt site Gwen said she was excited to hit the road again and joked:
“I think we should go out now. I don’t think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again.”
Sounds like a plan. Whatever it takes to get No Doubt back out there.
Rumor has it that Madonna’s new love affair with Alex Rodriguez is already on the rocks.
Why?? Kabbalah.
According to MSNBC, Madonna is reportedly furious Alex Rodriguez dropped out of Kabbalah training because he was “bored”.
Madonna – whose divorce from Guy Ritchie was granted recently – has so far failed in her attempts to get her rumoured boyfriend Alex to share her interest in Kabbalah, a mystical off-shoot of Judaism.
Rumor has it Alex hasn’t even finished Kabbalah 1 and the majority of the time he has spent studying the religion so far was for counseling, not study.
Madonna – whose bid to get Guy interested in the religion failed after he branded it “weird” and “hokum” – is now said to be considering whether to proceed in her relationship with Alex.
“She did drag Guy into Kabbalah, she’s doing the same now with Alex. But he’s bored. He’s basically a Kabbalah school dropout.”
This can’t be good for their “relationship”. Is Madonna going to stay in the relationship anyway or is she going to look for someone who is willing to take on her religion too??
Which reminds me what’s that saying, “You can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink”. Food for thought for Madonna.

Getting divorced doesn’t mean that you have to hate your spouse. Whether it be you, a friend or family – we have all experienced divorce one way or another.
Heather Locklear and ex-husband Richie Sambora are embracing the spirit of Thanksgiving by celebrating the holiday together – along with Locklear’s boyfriend – this year. Wow!!
What an example of divorce and co-parenting. Besides Demi Moore and Bruce Willis – I haven’t heard of many ex’s getting along this well. Madonna and Guy Ritchie should take notes on this one (although it is definitely too soon for them to have all that togetherness).
People Magazine has reported that Richie and Heather are spending Thanksgiving together with their daughter Ava. Jack Wagner, Heather’s boyfriend, and a few good friends will also be having dinner with them.
Heather and Richie split in 2006 after 12 years of marriage, but they continue to be supportive of each other, and to co-parent their 11 year old daughter.
They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much.
A friend of Heather’s has been quoted as saying,
“Heather and Richie are very supportive of each other,”. “They talk all the time, and anytime Ava has something important happening they are there together. It’s going to be a very nice Thanksgiving for everyone.”
And who can blame her. She is in the process of getting a highly publicized divorce from Guy Ritchie.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Madonna admits her split from Guy Ritchie has been tough.
“I’m sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life.”
As she continues on her Sticky & Sweet tour, she said her heavy workload
”provides a distraction that keeps me going. It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do.”
Ritchie is also staying busy, as he films Sherlock Holmes in London.
The divorce will be finalized in six weeks and a day.
According to a court document, Madonna, who acted as the petitioner, said in a sworn statement that she is divorcing Ritchie for his “unreasonable behavior.”
There have been so many rumors about her behavior and “rules” that it would be nice to see what her idea of “unreasonable behavior” would be. Any ideas??
Rosie O’Donnell is back!! Rosie is going to be hosting a Variety Show, “Rosie Live”, Wednesday at 8PM. An hour of fun – no controversy, no fighting. For Rosie that is a change. Especially in the past week with Rosie and Barbara Walters going back and forth fighting and slamming each other every chance they get.
Rosie was on the “Today” Show this morning where she had another opportunity to express herself.
When asked about the latest controversy with “The View”, Rosie stated,
“No matter what Barbara Walters wants everyone to think, that everyone gets along – that is just not a reality.”
Rosie also said you don’t hear the question. After 60 interviews you are just trying to answer the questions. One of the questions was, “Are the woman really friends?” – my answer to that was no – they are not hanging out on the weekends.
“It was never my goal to hurt anyone there (on the View). After the Donald Trump thing – after Christmas – I knew I was not going to re-sign with The View and Barbara also knew that.”
Rosie is still hurt about the incident where they went to a split screen when Rosie and Elizabeth were fighting.
Rosie also admits to being “hard to take” for some people and admits that Barbara Walters probably just had had enough of her.
Miley Cyrus may have already closed Disneyland down for an early celebration of her Sweet 16 birthday, but that was just the beginning of the celebration for the Disney star. Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, may have got his daughter the best possible gift for a young singing sensation — and it’s not a new car.
Billy Ray told Access Hollywood that Miley wanted a recording studio.
“She just wanted a place to record there at the house. She’s been writing a lot of songs … a lot of really great material.”
And Miley won’t be the only singer in the house spending some time in the new studio — at least according to dad.
Miley could not be any happier about her gift.
Billy Ray may have his sights set on logging some hours behind the mic, but not if Miley has anything to say about it.
“He’s not touching it, he’s not touching it! It’s mine, It’s in my room. No one’s touching it but me. They’ll ruin it.”

Miley Cyrus celebrated her 16th birthday on Sunday, November 23rd. The only “problem” was that she had a conflict – it was the same day as the American Music Awards where she was going to be performing her song, “Fly on the Wall”. What is a girl to do.
Thanks to her parents and some friends her big day did not go forgotten. They had a mini party at the American Music Awards (AMAs). Not her only celebration since Miley had an early celebration on October 5 at California’s Disneyland.
Besides her parents, some of her friends including, Jordin Sparks, Julianne Hough, Taylor Swift and AshleyTisdale all surrounded and cheered for the birthday girl as she blew out the candles on her birthday cake.

The American Music Awards took place last night in Los Angeles.
Star Studded is an understatement.
The show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel featured a record 19 performances. Including Alicia Keyes’ performance of “Superwoman”, a special collaboration by Pink and Sarah McLachlan of the hit song “Angel.” Other highlights included an opening 7-minute medley of Christina Aguilera’s greatest hits as well as show-stopping performances by Beyonce, Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Ne-Yo, New Kids on the Block, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Pussycat Dolls, Taylor Swift, a solo performance by Pink and The Fray.
The biggest winner of the night was Chris Brown who won three awards including Favorite Artist of the Year. It was no surprise that Rihanna, Chris’ girlfriend, also won for Favorite Artist of the Year.
Surprise guest Justin Timberlake was on hand to present the 2008 American Music Awards special “Award of Merit” to Annie Lennox honoring her work with the groundbreaking Eurythmics and her illustrious solo career. Additionally, Mariah Carey was recognized for becoming the solo artist with the most number one hits of all time.

Michelle Williams has been all over the tabloids since her ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger died from a prescription overdose last January. Photographers have stalked Michelle and her 3-year-old daughter, Matilda, to the point where she’s now spending some time in a farmhouse in upstate New York just to escape.

There is a rumor going around that Joe Jonas is absolutely obsessed with what he wears and how it looks. So, every night he does a trial run with the next day’s outfit, from head to toe.
That sounds pretty reasonable for someone that is being photographed ALL the time.
The odd part is that Joe Jonas is actually dressing a mannequin. Not the norm?? He claims that planning his outfits on a mannequin saves him time in the morning.

First he was dating Heather Locklear now People Magazine is reporting the he has been spotted around town with none other than Nicolette Sheridan.
Nicollette Sheridan was celebrating her 45th birthday with friends and co-stars, Felicity Huffman and Kyle MacLachlan. David Spade started off at a seperate table but eventually ended up hanging out with Nicollette. I guess they are trying to keep it low key for now. Nicollette and Michael Bolton just recently broke off their engagement.
Who better to help you get over your 2nd husband than your 1st husband. According to People Magazine, Madonna was spotted with ex-husband, Sean Penn having drinks at the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan. According to a source, there isn’t anything romantic going on – they’re just good friends.
The London court has granted Madonna and Guy Ritchie a preliminary “quickie divorce” on Friday.
If there was any doubt – Summitt Entertainment has announced that they are already planning the sequel to “Twilight”, starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The sequel “New Moon” is from the 2nd book in the “Twilight” series from Stephanie Meyer.
Stephanie Meyer stated,
“I don’t think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON.”
In order to commit to a sequel, “Twilight” had to bring in a minimum of $100 million dollars. The movie was sold out prior to being “officially” released.
I am sure there is no doubt after this blockbuster weekend that the movie is going to make well over the $100 million goal!!
People Magazine has reported that Travis Barker has filed a lawsuit blaming the pilots and defective equipment for a plane crash that severely injured the rocker and DJ AM and killed four others.
A lawsuit was also filed by the mother of Barker’s bodyguard, Charles Still, who died in the crash. The lawsuit alleges the pilots “negligently decided to abort” the takeoff when the Learjet’s tires failed.
The suit states,
“The pilots were either poorly trained and/or failed to follow their training. The pilots’ decision was a breach of their duty owed to the passengers onboard and was a substantial factor in causing the crash and resultant injuries and deaths.”
Barker, who is recovering from severe burns, is claiming the crash caused him pain and suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress, disfigurement, loss of earnings capacity and medical expenses.
I believe Barker’s claims – the pain and suffering for what he has been through must make it very difficult to continue as if everything is “okay”.
Hopefully he continues his speedy recover and is able to move forward and put this as far behind him as humanly possible. If it is possible that is.
According to People Magazine, Leonardo DiCaprio, who was out celebrating GQ Magazine’s annual Men of the Year party, spent most of the night chatting with Kate Bosworth and sipping on a Grey Goose cocktail.
I am sure we all know that alcohol and pretty girls do not mix – this leaves too much room for speculation.
They were supposedly sitting really close together and acting super flirty. More room for speculation.
Finally the pair, joined by DiCaprio’s BFF Lukas Haas and pal Kevin Connolly were spotted leaving together to move the party to another location where they closed the place. This too leaves room for even more speculation.

Paris Hilton did an interview with Ryan Seacrest for his radio show. She spoke out about her relationship with Benji Madden and how difficult the break-up has been. Speaking about her ex, Paris said:
“You know, I love him. He’s such an amazing man and he’s my best friend and he’s been so great to me and so loyal. He’s an incredible person. We’ll always be very close. We’ll see what happens in the future. I’m still in love with him.”
Paris cited busy work schedules and lots of travel as the reason behind their split.
She also refuted some of the rumors – there was no cheating with her ex Stavros:
“There are all these reports saying that I dumped Benji. That’s not true. This was a decision we made together as two adults.”

Forbes has named their their top 20 Hollywood Earning Couples. It should not be a surprise that Jay-Z and Beyonce topped the list. We are talking SUPER POWER couple. Thanks to a fabulous year filled with music, movies, fashion and endorsement deals, Jay-Z and his new bride, Beyoncé Knowles, collectively raked in $162 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008. That is MEGA BUCKS!! Most people cannot even imagine making that much in their life time yet alone in 1 year. WOW!!
No 2. on the list is Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. They hauled in some $85 million over the past year. What surprises me is how far away No. 2 is from No. 1 on the list. Beyonce and Jay-Z made 2x the amount of Will and Jada. Double WOW!!

I have been trying not to write about “Twilight” – I think I have been avoiding it because I know nothing about the books, movie, actors,….
I finally realized that there is absolutely no way to avoid discussing the movie, “Twilight”. It is being promoted everywhere. Television, Internet, Talk Shows. You name it. If you have not gotten tickets for the movie set to be released tonight at 12:01AM – then it will be virtually impossible to get them at this late date.
The star of the movie, Robert Pattinson is a British actor. He has been in another cult like series, Harry Potter. The actor plays good-guy vampire Edward Cullen in the film, based on a best-selling books series by Stephanie Meyer, and has become the heartthrob of the moment.
His co-star is Kristen Stewart, who plays Edward’s mortal love, Bella.
Pattinson has become an ICON virtually overnight. Screaming girls everywhere. It has gotten to the point that he needs a bodyguard when going to his press junkets.
There is already talk of possible sequels. There are three other novels in the Stephenie Meyer series so anything is possible.
Pattinson said that a script for a second film has been written, and Stewart heard the cast might reunite to film the second and third sequels at the same time, but now they might be filmed separately.
According to Catherine Hardwicke, the director,
“It has to make a certain amount of money, like $150 million, to be able to afford the sequel. So we really don’t know yet.”

Madonna and Guy Ritchie announced they were divorcing after 8 years of marriage. According to the BBC, Madonna and Guy Ritchie will be granted a preliminary divorce decree at the High Court in London on Friday. After six weeks and a day, the divorce will be made final. That was quick!! At least for me it was – I don’t about them.
According to the British press, Madonna and Ritchie reached a settlement over money and their kids Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3. London’s Evening Standard reports that Madonna will keep the bulk of her estimated $500 million fortune.
Rocco and David will split time between the U.S. and London, while Lourdes, whose father is Carlos Leon, will live with her mother. I wonder if she will see Ritchie at all – it must be weird to have lived with him for 8 years and then that’s it. I see counseling in her future – can you say abandonment issues?
Thankfully – they both put the children first. Had Guy Ritchie wanted to – he could have dragged this whole thing out for months – just to get a piece of her fortune (which is rumored to be over $500 million). That’s no chump change either.
According to TMZ, Jennifer Garner has obtained a court order protecting herself from a man she believes is endangering her family. How awful is that!! Jennifer Garner is having a baby – the last thing she needs right now is the extra stress of being stalked. How scary!!
TMZ has obtained documents ordering Steven Burky to stay clear of Garner — no contact whatsoever.
The documents state,
“Mr. Burky has been stalking and harassing me. Sending packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts and following me around the country …”
Garner says Burky has been harassing her since 2002, but in the last year,
“his obsessive and harassing behavior has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening.”
She also said that she fears for herself, husband Ben Affleck and daughter Violet.
“I am currently pregnant and fear for the safety of my second child once born.”
A judge issued a temporary restraining order earlier this month. A hearing is coming up to make the order permanent.

Once the photos of Paris cozying up to her ex- Stavros Niarchos , came out. I knew the end was in sight. I am sure Paris had a lot of explaining to do when Benji saw those photos. Of course – according to sources, nothing happened that night between Paris and Stavros

“Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn’t get along with any of her friends. Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.”

Can you say random?? Paris Hilton and Prince William - a potential couple?? That has to be the oddest match or should i say mismatch I have EVER heard.
Paris met the Prince at the Whiskey Mist in London while filming her reality show, “My BFF”. Paris admitted that despite being in a relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, she would act on her crush if William didn’t have a girlfriend (that must have made Benji happy).
Paris told New! magazine:
“I’d be more than happy to date William – so long as he ditches the mousy girlfriend. I couldn’t believe it when I met him. He was awesome and really hot.”
Paris and Benji recently signed a rumored six-figure deal to attend the launch party of Bongo Virus, a new online networking system, in Australia on New Year’s Eve. Paris is booked to be the host of the bash, while Benji is set to do the spinning. It will be interesting to see if they both show up. Especially since Prince William is on the invite list!!
My guess is that between the Prince William remark from Paris and her flirting with her ex-Stavros Niarchos in Miami last week – Benji has had enough.

In August, PETA attacked Gwyneth Paltrow for wearing a fox stole in a Tod’s ad.
Peta released a statement that said:
“Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she continues to flaunt fur.”
According to US Magazine, Gwyneth spoke with a Senior Person from PETA at the grand opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.
Paltrow explained to the person from PETA,
“It was a daylong photo shoot on a boat near Capri, and there were all sorts of poses with all kinds of clothes – none with fur. During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulder. I didn’t pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur, I assumed it was fake fur, but did not ask, so it’s my fault. I was very surprised when they ended up using that one shot out of hundreds for the centerpiece of the Tod’s ads. I know it’s not a great excuse, but I hope you and your members understand.”
She went on to explain that she does not wear fur at all.

Brad Pitt was on the Oprah Winfrey show speaking about EVERYTHING!! From his upcoming movie, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, to his family, to how happy he is.

The preview of the movie, “The Curious Life of Benjamin Button” looks like a great movie. Brad refers to the film as a “Love Letter to New Orleans”. The movie is coming out on Christmas Day. I CANNOT wait to see it.
MSNBC has reported that Charlize Theron is the newest U.N. Messenger of Peace. Charlize is turning her Academy Award-winning fame to ending violence against women and girls around the globe.
Theron told reporters that she was taking on her new responsibilities,
“very humbly, with a very excited heart.”
She also vowed to help send a strong message that violence against women and girls was not acceptable.
Charlize grew up in a home with domestic violence. At the age of 15 she witnessed her mother shoot her alcoholic father to death while he was threatening the family. She also won an Oscar for Best Actress in 2004 for her portrayal of a domestic violence victim turned serial killer in “Monster.”
I think its great that Charlize is taking on this new role. It’s an important message that needs to be heard.

In a new documentary, Britney Spears tearfully admits in her new controlled life,

Britney hit rock bottom in January when she was forced to undergo psychiatric treatment after losing custody of her sons to ex Kevin Federline.
She says she is still paying for the public meltdown. Being in the public eye can do that to a person.
Unfortunately, Britney is now seeing the help as “control” and a lack of freedom.
Still she says, “I think I’ve learned my lesson now and enough is enough.”
Let’s hope Britney continues on the path she is on and doesn’t make a wrong turn.
Miley Cyrus is turning 16. As she is getting older she is learning that with success comes a price. Miley is having a hard time trusting people and is learning to keep her guard up.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Miley stated,
“I think you have to be really careful about the people you trust. There [are] very few, two or three people that I would actually go to with anything and know that it would never leave the room. Two of those are my parents.”
Of course the other person that Miley trusts is her new boyfriend, Justin Gaston, 20.
After leaving Nashville making friends in Hollywood can be challenging. She stated that many of her pals are also in the business because it is “easier,” but that too can become a challenge.
“I think that’s what’s really great, because you can relate to each other that way, but it still makes it hard because you still never know when someone’s career is up and down.”
I’m not sure what that statement means – but it must be hard being so young trying to survive in a “grownup” world.

Yes, Miley Cyrus is alive!! After the hacker “hoax” started a rumor on MySpace that she had died after being hit by a drunk driver we can all breath a sigh of relief. While she was feeling under the weather she did manage to make it to the Premiere of “Bolt” in NYC last night.
How lucky is she – co-starring with John Travolta and hanging out on the red carpet with him.
John Travolta plays the starring role, super-dog BOLT with Miley Cyrus playing Bolt’s owner. There are some surprise guest voices as well – Andy Garcia (one of my all time favorite hotties), Billy Ray Cyrus, Jeff Garlin, Denise Richards, Buzz Aldrin and Mr. T.
John spoke to the Press Association and stated,
It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for years. I’ve got friends like Tom Hanks and Robin Williams who have done fantastic animations and I never quite got offered the right one. Then finally a few years ago Disney offered me [Bolt] and I thought this was the one I had to say yes to.”
Bolt got great reviews – I am glad he said yes – I can’t wait to see the movie (especially since its in 3D).

For some reason she is still speaking about the Lindsay Lohan incident that happened more than 2 years ago.
Scarlett is not sure what started the friction between herself and Lindsay. Scarlett told Allure that she’s only met Lindsay a handful of times when for some reason Lindsay wrote some vulgarity on a bathroom wall in New York City (can you say jealous).
That’s what I heard. I really don’t know [Lindsay.] I only met her, like, three times. But apparently she did [write something]. I don’t know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar — I mean, shockingly so, like, ‘Whoa, what, who are you?’”

Angelina is currently promoting her latest movie “Changeling“. According to Times Online, Angelina Jolie blinked back tears when discussing her role in the film. The role reminded her of her late mother.
She said her character, whose son goes missing, was similar to her actress mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died from cancer in 2007.
Angelina got very choked up when talking about her mother.
She was very much Christine Collins. She was very sweet and she would never get angry and she would never swear, but when it came to her kids she was fierce, so this was very much her story.”
There is already Oscar buzz around Changeling, a movie that Angelina almost turned down. She found the idea of re-enacting the true story of Christine Collins too harrowing. Collins’ son went missing in 1928. Corrupt police then returned a boy that wasn’t hers, insisting he was her missing son and throwing her into a psychiatric hospital when she disputed his identity.
“When I first read the script I couldn’t put it down and then I said no immediately. I didn’t want to go near this story.”
She changed her mind when she was unable to stop thinking about Collins’ plight.
I found it very inspiring in the end. I really wanted people to know about her as an extra piece of justice.”
In the spirit of the release of Reese Witherspoon’s holiday comedy “Four Christmases” and of course in the spirit of the holiday, Reese spoke to Extra about the strangest Christmas gift she’s ever received.

My dad’s a doctor, and his patients used to always send him weird things because we grew up in Tennessee — so its country. One year they sent a dead squirrel… as dinner. So we had it in the freezer for like three years… my brother and I were daring each other to touch it for like $10.”

Ouch. Heather Locklear is the last person I’d expect to get a DUI. When I think DUI – I think drinking and driving. In this case – Heather was under the influence of prescription medication.

Although no alcohol or illegal narcotics were found in the actress’ system, they believe the prescription medications she consumed at the time “could have impaired her ability to safely drive a motor vehicle.”
Once again I am officially confused – if nothing was found in her system then how can they arrest her. I didn’t think that believing something is enough to hold up in a court of law. Can anyone shed some light on this??

Filming love scenes with Kidman “couldn’t have been better or easier,” We spoke of “setting boundaries.”
When asked if Hugh Jackman wore anything for the steamy scenes, Hugh responded by saying,
I won’t tell all the nitty gritty. “But [director Baz Luhrmann] treats love scenes like choreography. The camera is like a dancer. If you watch any of his movies, visually, the love scenes are like poetry.”

It’s been insane,” she went on. “I think that the public outcry has been crazy, and it’s kind of wonderful.”
The problem a number of the television shows are having, Lipstick Jungle included is that the public has turned to their DVR. This means you get to watch a 1 hour show in 40 minutes. With the public so time conscious, every minute counts.
This also means that the advertisers are taking a huge hit. They are paying millions of dollars only to have the viewers fast forward when a commercial comes on. I know I am GUILTY of this.

Justin Timberlake was scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live (SNL) over Thanksgiving weekend. Since he had to cancel he decided to show up on this week’s SNL.
After much speculation, Audrina Partridge has confirmed there will be a 5th season for The Hills fans.
All the fans can give a sigh of relief – with Whitney having her own spinoff in New York City, Lauren Conrad dating Kyle Howard (who is not on the show), Audrina working on her own career - it did not seem like we would get to indulge in the guilty pleasure of watching the show.
Audrina Partridge spilled the beans over the weekend,
There is going to be a fifth season. We just found out. At one point, all of us were like, ‘No, we don’t want to do another season,’. I wanted to do more movies, and Whitney moved to New York and she’s doing her own spin-off. We have fun with each other and we’ve stuck it out this long. We might as well do another one.”

The most watched fashion show in the world was filmed in Miami this weekend. Singer Usher kicked off the Victoria’s Secret show Saturday, which featured 35 supermodels, including Heidi Klum and AdrianaLima. The show took place at the newly renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
Access Hollywood has reported that the theme of the show is a return to glamour.
Some of the celebrities spotted at the VS Fashion show included P. Diddy, Michelle Trachtenberg, John Stamos, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and Martha Stewart.

Somehow – I just can’t picture Jake fat. Happy yes – fat I don’t think so.
People Magazine asked Katie Holmes who she considers a role model? It wasn’t Victoria Beckham or even her mom – it was Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Katie considers Jada an inspiration, a strong, rare woman and a phenomenal friend, mother, and wife.

Although at the time, I believed that would be my happily ever after, unfortunately we have since gone our separate ways but still remain very good friends. He is a wonderful man and will make some woman very happy one day. As for me, I still VERY much want to be in love, GET MARRIED, and start a family of my own. There have been rumors that DeAnna broke up with Jesse because she was completely enamored with Hollywood. She sounds like she does have a “love” for the Hollywood life style.

John Mayer spoke to People Magazine about his ”girlfriend”, Jennifer Aniston.
”It’s really nice to have somebody in life have your back,” Mayer told PEOPLE. “That girl knows me … so whether I go to bed alone or not, to have somebody who knows you in this world, that’s a really nice thing.”
I am sure if I gave you 3 chances to get the right answer – you would get it right on the 1st guess. If you said her daughter, Honor, you are correct. It has been 5 months since Jessica Alba gave birth to her daughter Honor Marie. In an interview with People Magazine, Jessica stated Honor has brought her and husband Cash Warren closer.
It brings family together. It brings friends together. It makes every decision that you make that much more important.”
When asked if Honor is sleeping through the night?
“It depends on what you think sleeping through the night is. She gets a few bottles a night, yes. But she doesn’t wake up and want to hang out.”
That is DEFINITELY not sleeping through the night. If you’re eyes open to take care of the baby – you are no longer sleeping. So the answer to that question should have been NO WAY.

In the wake of the horrific tragedy of the loss of Jennifer Hudson’s family, Hudson has posted a message on her MySpace page.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern. jhud”
Jennifer’s mother, Darnell, and brother, Jason, were found shot to death in their Chicago home on Oct. 24.
Just three days later, the body of Julian, her nephew, was found.
Jennifer’s fans have been very supportive to her and her sister. I still get chills when I read about what happened.
According to US Magazine, while at the Child Alive Ball in NYC, Timberlake was asked if he wanted children. He responded by saying,
“I’m not sure.”
This is a surprising answer since Timberlake has been an advocate for kids’ charities. In addition to last night’s event, he hosted a golf tournament to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children last month.
I wonder how his girlfriend, Jessica Biel feels about his answer. That could be a deal breaker in any relationship.
On a lighter note, Justin and Jessica are focusing on their move to NYC. He and Biel have just purchased a home in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.

The all star extravaganza, the Lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 8PM. The 11th annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” telecast will be hosted by Al Roker, from the Today Show. This will be the 76th Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The annual tree lighting extravaganza will also have performances of current hits and holiday classics from Beyonce, David Cook, Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Tony Bennett, Neil Boyd, Harry Connick Jr. and Rosie O’Donnell to name a few.
Seventeen Magazine did something no other magazine has been able to do. They got Beyoncé to discuss marriage and JayZ. Good job Seventeen!!

The Daily Mail has reported that Brad Pitt is furious over over his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s comments about his new love, Angelina Jolie, in an interview with Vogue magazine.
Brad Pitt was believed to be angry about Jennifer Aniston discussing Angelina Jolie’s decision to spill the beans about falling in love with him while he was still married.
In the interview with Vogue magazine, Jen said she and Brad are on good terms and she has
“nothing but absolute admiration for him”
Brad and Angela were very surprised by Jen’s remarks. They thought she had moved on and wouldn’t want to reopen this old wound.
Brad is upset?? Isn’t he the one who cheated on Aniston in front of the entire world. Humiliating for Jen is an understatement.

Access Hollywood has reported in an interview with the BBC, Angelina Jolie said she will soon be shifting her focus from film to family.
Angelina said,
“I don’t plan on acting very long. I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day.”
Grandma?? Isn’t her oldest son Maddox only 7??
The mother of six would prefer to spend less time working and more time at home raising her brood with partner Brad Pitt.
Before she calls it quits, Angelina has quite a few projects in the works.
Among the films currently in development for the actress are the historical drama “The Mercenary,” the stylistic “Sin City 2,” “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: III” and the 2011 project “Pandamonium” – the follow-up to the animated hit “Kung Fu Panda.”
And once she’s done working on those projects, and several others that are in the works, Angelina is ready to walk into the sunset.

This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart…
I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response.
I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.
One of my favorite shows, Lipstick Jungle, is officially on its last leg. There is a lot of talk that the show is going to be cancelled. Apparently the ratings are not what they should be and since they moved the show to Friday nights the ratings have gotten even worse.
Kim Raver, Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields play the three female leads (Nico, Victory and Wendy) and Robert Buckley plays Kirby Atwood, Nico’s hot younger boyfriend. I’m going to miss you Kirby.

Extra recently had an interview with Jesse where he gave more insight into the breakup.
Jesse stated,
“We both went on the show with the best of intentions. We did fall in love on the show, but things didn’t work out. I wish her nothing but the best. She’s a great person. I hope to see her do well. I don’t regret anything with her.”
What kind of girl is Jesse looking for?
“I want a down-to-earth, honest outgoing girl that loves to be outside and snowboard.”
Surprisingly, Jesse said if given the opportunity he would do another reality show to find the right woman. Although he did give it a spin that might actually work. Especially since there is only 1 couple that has ever made it to the alter (Trista and Ryan).
“I’d want to put them [the girls] in my element… to be out in Colorado… doing the things I like to do… if I could meet a girl that is into doing all those things and is honest and outgoing, I think I could find true love again.”
Not a bad idea. Instead of creating the perfect romantic environment – have the bachelor or bachelorette go about their everyday life. This way the contestants can get the real picture instead of one big honeymoon. What do you think – would this help more couples to make it to the alter??

Last night’s CMA Awards was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley who both won an award for Vocalist of the Year.
It was a star studded night from both presenters to performers to winners. Top Presenters included Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Wow.
Performing last night was Kellie Pickler, an American Idol alumni. Nominated for best new artist Pickler sang “Best Year of Your Life”. Carrie Underwood, another American Idol alumni, who also happened to win Female Vocalist of the Year, sang a touching tribute to our fallen American soldier’s by performing “Just a Dream”. It was a touching, memorable star studded evening. Congratulations to all of the nominees, performers and winners!!
Well that was fast. Joe Jonas is dating someone new. It was not too long ago that Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift broke up. Joe reportedly ended his relationship with Swift over the telephone.
People magazine reported that Joe is now seeing a very beautiful actress Camilla Belle, who starred in the Jonas Brothers video “Lovebug.” Joe reportedly started dating Camilla, who appeared in the movie 10,000 BC, right after the video shoot was done.
It’s going to be hard to snap a photo of these two together. They’re keeping it low key for now.
A few weeks ago I went on vacation to the Atlantis, in the Bahamas. It was AMAZING.
According to E! Online, next week the opening of the biggest, splashiest distraction to hit the Middle East will take place at the Atlantis in Dubai. I WISH I was going to be attending this grand opening. I can’t even imagine how awesome it is going to be. Kylie Minogue, will be singing, and Samantha Ronsen will be deejaying.
Plenty of famous people have headed to Dubai recently. Tiger Woods is building a golf course there, George Clooney attended the Dubai Film Festival, David Beckham will be training with his Italian soccer team there, as well. I am sure once the Atlantis opens there will be plenty more stars flocking to Dubai.
Since I have not had the honor of being invited to the grand opening (can you believe that?), I guess I’m going to just have to read about it. I can’t wait to see some of the photos either.
MSNBC has reported, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon recently flew to London for an appearance on British singing competition “The X Factor,” where the couple reportedly brought 20 pieces of luggage for the three-day trip.
How many outfit changes do you think that would be? What could someone possibly pack that would take up 20 pieces of luggage? If anyone has any idea please fill me in – I know I pack a lot but NOT that much.
The next time my husband complains I pack too much I’ll have to show him Mariah Carey’s luggage!!
How sweet is that!! People Magazine reported that Hank Basset was quoted as saying,
“Hef is like a father to Kendra so he’s going to be the one to give her away. That’s why I wanted his blessings and her mom’s blessing.”
Father?? I am not sure how many ex’s would want to referred to as a “father figure” – but okay.
Hank Basset also stated,
“Both of us like to stay home and wear sweats [more] than go out and party. Ever since I met her, this is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. And every day she does something else that makes me fall in love with her.”
Rumor has it that Adrienne Bailon and JJ’s Dirt Web site founder Jonathan Jaxson leaked the story that nude photos were stolen from her laptop. They supposedly did this to “juice” things up. Did they think that the fact that the laptop was stolen is what got everyone’s attention or the fact that she had nude photos on the laptop is what really got everyone’s attention.

After several weeks of not seeing his children, Guy Ritchie, is finally getting the opportunity to visit with them.
But of course – there are rumors that the visit comes with a set of conditions. According to the Daily Mail, Madonna sent Guy the list via email.
Here is the list of rules that were sent to Guy.
Under no circumstances should they be allowed to read newspapers, magazines, or watch TV or DVDs.
They must adhere at all times to a macrobiotic, vegetarian, organic diet with no processed or refined food. (Does this mean no McDonalds?)
All water they drink, even when it is to dilute organic juice, should be Kabbalah water. (Where can I get some of that water?)
They should wear the clothes Madonna has sent with them on the flight. If they need to be bought anything, they should not contain any man-made fibers.
Their hands should be regularly cleaned with disinfectant spray if they are in public places. (Looks like there is going to be a run on Purell).
They should not be bought toys that are spiritually or ethically unsound.
Guy should not discuss the separation with them. (Do you think they’ve noticed that Mom and Dad don’t live together)?
Madonna should have phone contact with the boys as much as three or four times a day at times set by her.
The boys should not be introduced to Guy’s new friends, especially any new female friends.
Madonna has encouraged the access to give time with the boys, rather than his parents spending large amounts of time with them.
The boys should not be photographed while with Guy. It is his responsibility to organize security so that does not happen. (TOO LATE FOR THIS ONE – THERE ARE PHOTOS ALL OVER THE PLACE)
At bedtime, Guy should read David the English Rose books Madonna wrote. (I personally enjoy the book – but isn’t every night overkill).

In the December issue of Vogue, Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her relationship with John Mayer. Really opened up!! She discusses everything from their previous break-up, to their age difference to how protective she feels about Mayer.
When asked if she knew that John and her were going to work out when she first met him, Jen said,
“You know, it isn’t designed. Love just shows up and you go, ‘Oh, wow, this is going to be a hayride and a half.’ “ Jen went onto say, “I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.”
When talking about John, Jen used the big L (love) word. Wow!! It is so nice to see Jen happy. Let’s hope John is in this relationship for the right reasons.
Access Hollywood has reported that Donald Trump, the most unlikely angel, has been allowing Jennifer Hudson and her family to stay at Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago and picking up the tab. This is in the wake of the murder of Jennifer’s mother, brother and nephew.
Donald Trump puts on a tough exterior but actually has shown his true colors with this horrifying incident. Trump was quoted by People Magazine as saying, “They are safe, she’s a great girl and we’re protecting them well.”
Its been a few weeks since the incident and my heart still breaks when I hear about what happened to Jennifer’s family.
Former ‘Desperate Housewives’ gardener, Jesse Metcalfe, was in Monaco at the World Music Awards when he fell off a balcony 40 feet. I am not sure exactly what happened as different news sources tell different versions of the incident (don’t worry I will be sure to update the story once everything has been verified).
He was in a Monaco hospital and was transferred to a London Hospital today. I read everything from – he snapped his leg to he can’t feel his legs. Either one would be awful.
According to sources he is LUCKY to be alive.
It was only a couple of weeks ago that Gale Harold, Susan’s latest boyfriend on Desperate Housewives was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. Is there a curse on the set of Desperate Housewives? What do you think?
It’s been over a year since Lindsay Lohan has been out of rehab. Lindsay spoke to Access Hollywood and said,
“I learned to take the time for me and you know, you learn to put yourself first ‘cause at the end of the day, you have to go home and look in the mirror.”
Lindsay realizes that everyone goes through their ups and downs. Unfortunately, she has to live her life in the public eye. THAT is pressure. What do you think – is the added pressure of living in the public eye what caused her to go astray?
According to People Magazine, Kendra Wilkinson’s mother thinks she is too young to get married, she is very happy for Kendra and Hank Basset, a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, but would have preferred for Kendra,23 to wait until she is older to marry.
This is a sticky subject. Some people say that “Age is just a number” while others do not believe that at 23 you are mature enough to be married.
Hugh Hefner doesn’t seem to be bothered by age or by Kendra’s marriage. Rumor has it the wedding ceremony will be held at the Playboy Mansion. Not many ex-boyfriends would be willing to do that.

It feels like forever ago that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married. When their marriage ended – Jen handled it with dignity and class.
Even when Angelina and Brad were showing up together all over the place. Even when Angelina was denying the rumors that she and Brad began their relationship on the movie set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”. Through it all Jen held her head high and moved on with her life.
Recently Angelina revealed that she and Pitt had ‘fell in love’ during the making of the movie in 2004.
FINALLY Jen has spoken out in the upcoming Vogue Magazine. As per the Daily Mail, Jennifer Aniston has stated,
‘What Angelina did was very uncool’.
Not quite the words that I would have chosen after 4 years of silence. But again – grace, dignity and class is how Jennifer Aniston has handled the situation. Gotta Love Jen!!
Glamour Magazine held their 2008 Woman of the Year Awards show last night in New York. There were a whole host of celebrities in attendance including, Natalie Portman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kate Bosworth, Taylor Swift and Fergie. WOW! What an amazing night that must have been.
Glamour said the women were all chosen because they have “made unprecedented contributions to the worlds of entertainment, business, sports, fashion, science and politics”.
Nicole Kidman, who won an award for her role as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, gave quite the acceptance speech dedicated to her husband Keith Urban. Glamour Magazine gave a glimpse of the speech.

Kate Winslet NEVER wears fur!! Unless of course she is told that it is faux-fur.
Kate recently did an interview with Vanity Fair where she is laying on a fur rug sans clothes. She was told the fur she was lounging on was faux, only to learn later it was the real thing – a riling silver fox fur throw. Her rep told the London Daily Mail,
“There was apparently false fur there and real fur there, and she definitely understood it was false. Kate never wears fur. She’s very, very firm on that.”
Vanity Fair is quoted as saying,
“We thought Miss Winslet was aware of this and we’re sorry for the miscommunication.”

Lauren Conrad, the star of the MTV hit show, “The Hills”, has decided to try and keep her new relationship with My Boys star Kyle Howard under the radar.
After having relationships with Brody Jenner, Jason Wahler and Stephen Colletti onscreen she has decided to keep her latest relationship as private as possible.
Lauren is quoted in USA Today as saying, “There’s very little that I’m able to keep to myself through the show and through media, so if there’s anything I can, I try to.”
She also went on to say that she has a hard time maintaining friendships as a result of being in the limelight.
First, the drama with Heidi and Spencer and now the rumors flying about her hooking up with Audrina Partridge’s on again, off again boyfriend Justin Bobby.

Lindsay Lohan is currently dating, DJ, Samantha Ronsen and has previously dated Jared Leto and Aaron Carter to name a few. As reported in US magazine, Lindsay was recently interviewed for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.

Britney Spears finally got permission from Kevin Federline to take her 2 boys to her hometown in Louisiana. Apparently, Jaden had seemed lethargic and wasn’t acting like himself and then went on to have a seizure.

“Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow.”
This is one movie that I cannot wait to see. US Magazine, has reported The movie, “Nine” currently shooting in Italy and London isn’t scheduled to come out until December 2009 - but I already know I will be there on opening night to see the film.
With an all star cast like this it is a must see. Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Fergie, Sophie Loren and Daniel Day Lewis in one movie. It is sure to be a huge hit.

It looks like another Disney Star has gone and done it again. Some not so nice photos of Adrienne Bailon, a Cheetah girl, has surfaced on the internet (and I am not talking about her covershot from the Girl Scouts Leader Magazine). Adrienne reported her laptop stolen last weekend at JFK International airport. Adrienne had taken some naked photos for her boyfriend Robert Kardashian and stored them on her laptop.
Adrien is not the only Disney star this has happened to. Vanessa Hudgens had some topless photos leaked onto the internet, Miley Cyrus had some wet t-shirt photos also leaked on the internet. Not to mention Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy.
I am sure Disney is not happy about this latest photo incident. How do you think Disney should handle these incidents?? Should they fire the actresses??

According to MSNBC, Aniston’s rep has denied the pregnancy rumor, which claims that Aniston’s on-again-off-again beau John Mayer is the father.
Jennifer has also made it a point to be seen at the restaurant, The Ivy. The Ivy is the place to go when a celebrity has something they want to say to the press. In this case – Jennifer showed up in a tank top visibly NOT pregnant. Jennifer could not even stay and enjoy some food since she caused quite an uproar.

A number of celebrity gossip sites have written about Kevin Jonas getting a Lamborghini for his 21st birthday. They were actually giving him a really hard time. I guess they felt like he sold out since he owns a Tahoe Hybrid.
After all of the fuss surrounding the Lamborghini – it turns out that the car belonged to one of Kevin’s friends and Kevin was taking it around town for the day. I don’t know about anyone else – but if someone offered to lend me their Lamborghini I would be all over that. Do you think the press was especially hard on Kevin?
Sienna Miller and Balthaza Getty are said to have split. Sienna is quoted as saying to US Magazine,
“I’m single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that. It’s nice not to have a relationship that the press constantly want to scrutinize and discuss. I’m cool with being on my own.”
The relationship caused quite a stir since Getty was stilled married when the relationship began. From topless photos of them canoodling, to Miller’s house being vandalized this is one relationship that would have to be very strong to last. I can’t imagine any relationship that is put under a microscope being able to stand the test of time. Think Bennifer, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

Truth or Rumor?? Jennifer Aniston has paid a visit to a fertility clinic so that her and John Mayer can conceive a child together. I saw this on the cover of one of the gossip magazines and disregarded it but then heard it on the radio today while driving. The radio said that she wanted to have a child before she turned 40. Since the first time that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston dated and then broke up I have had a BAD taste in my mouth. John said some pretty nasty things and it looked like their dating was just for the publicity. I am not sure whether the fertility clinic is fact or fiction but of course time will tell. We have at least 9 months.
Don’t we all want to be Wonder Woman?? Beyonce is quoted as saying,

Despite their busy schedules, Brad and Angie, manage to find time to spend one on one time EVERY day with all of the children. That can’t be an easy task. That is correct. There are lots of rumors that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are planning to reunite – ON STAGE only. It seems that they both are supposed to sing with Madonna on November 6th at Madonna’s concert at LA Dodger’s stadium. Although there hasn’t been much talk about Justin and Britney being on friendly terms – it is rumored that Justin did keep in touch with Britney while she was in rehab. Britney is on the comeback trail and Justin is going to help her along when they reunite. Some are saying Madonna is doing this as a publicity stunt – what do you think?? With everything that is going on with the Madonna, Alex Rodriguez and Guy Richie triangle – could she be doing this for some positive press??
I am sure the 1st question that you are asking is – which girlfriend?? None other than Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hugh’s girlfriend’s from “The Girls Next Door”. To say – that was fast - would be an understatement. More like the speed of light. Kendra is engaged to football player, Hank Baskett.

Nicole Kidman is encouraging Tom and Katie to have another child. Connor Cruise, the adopted son of Nicole and Tom, has asked for a baby brother. Since Nicole just had her daughter, Sunday only a few months ago she has graciously sent the request to Connor’s dad and step-mom. Time will tell if Katie and Tom decide to honor Nicole’s request.
Ben Affleck was spotted in Santa Monica dropping his daughter Violet off at pre-school. Ben looks like he definitely has his hands full. Violet is holding a piece of paper with her mom, Jennifer Garner’s photo saying Mommy will be right back. Sounds like Violet might be having seperation issues. It can’t be easy being a celebrity, dating and trying to keep it a secret. Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas never formally admitted to dating because of Joe’s management compnay. They felt that Taylor was too much of a sex symbol and it would have a negative impact on Joe. So technically it is hard to break up when you have never admitted to actually dating. In any case, Taylor swift is writing about the breakup.
She has been writing songs about it and also posting on MySpace. Joe was not quite a gentleman and dumped her over the phone. I guess that’s what you do when you’re only 19?? Taylor writes to help her get through her tough times. Taylor admitted to Ryan Seacrest on his radio talk show that “Always and Forever” is about Joe. It can’t be easy going through tough times when you’re a celebrity.

When I 1st saw the photo I thought, “Is that my grandmother’s underwear?”. Is it me or are the underwear so NOT sexy. And definitely not what I think of when I think Victoria’s Secret or Heidi Klum for that matter. I am curious to see if this fashion line is a hit.

Kate Winslet refuses to give into the pressure of Hollywood to be skinny. This has made her a fan favorite. While she has not given in to the pressure she also stated, “everyone can commit to 20 minutes” of working out, “especially if there’s a glass of Chardonnay afterwards.”

Yes – its true. Brooke Smith, aka Dr. Hahn has been given her pink slip. When Dr. Hahn 1st came to Grey’s Anatomy I loved her dry wit. She was sarcastic and funny – fun to watch. Over the past several weeks Dr. Hahn and Dr. Torres became a couple. Last week the story line became rather risque. Maybe too liberal for the viewers and for the powers that be since they decided to step away from the storyline and fire Brooke Smith. Very sudden??
‘Bachelorette’, Deanna Pappas, has broken her fiance Chris Csincsak’s heart. They had taken some time apart – when she came back to Colorado she told her ex-fiance , ‘I love you, but I’m not in love with you.’ Rumor has it that she is more interested in Hollywood than anything. They agreed to spend the summer months in Hollywood and the winter months in Colorado for Chris’ snowboarding. I guess she was having too much fun to leave Hollywood.
