Paris and Benji Prove..Breaking Up is Hard to Do!!

Paris Hilton did an interview with Ryan Seacrest for his radio show.  She spoke out about her relationship with Benji Madden and how difficult the break-up has been.  Speaking about her ex, Paris said:

“You know, I love him. He’s such an amazing man and he’s my best friend and he’s been so great to me and so loyal.  He’s an incredible person. We’ll always be very close. We’ll see what happens in the future. I’m still in love with him.”

Paris cited busy work schedules and lots of travel as the reason behind their split.

She also refuted some of the rumors – there was no cheating with her ex Stavros:

“There are all these reports saying that I dumped Benji. That’s not true. This was a decision we made together as two adults.”

Paris is still leaving the door open with Madden

“Right now we are just taking a break. We are really good friends. We’re really close. Dating other people is the last thing on my mind.”

Paris has entered the 1st stage of breaking up – the hopeful stage – they are just on a break for the moment. Only time will tell.

It’s Nice to Be Jay-Z and Beyonce!!

Forbes has named their their top 20 Hollywood Earning Couples.  It should not be a surprise that Jay-Z and Beyonce topped the list.  We are talking SUPER POWER couple.  Thanks to a fabulous year filled with music, movies, fashion and endorsement deals, Jay-Z and his new bride, Beyoncé Knowles, collectively raked in $162 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008.  That is MEGA BUCKS!!  Most people cannot even imagine making that much in their life time yet alone in 1 year.  WOW!!

No 2. on the list is Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. They hauled in some $85 million over the past year.  What surprises me is how far away No. 2 is from No. 1 on the list.  Beyonce and Jay-Z made 2x the amount of Will and Jada.  Double WOW!!

No.3 on the list is none other than super hottie David Beckham and wife Victoria.  This power couple brought in $58 million over the year-long period.

 

Country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill ranked fourth with earnings of $35 million. The final couple in the top five was Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, with earnings of $34 million.

Other Hollywood couples on the list included Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as well as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

According to the latest reports, the couple are now proud parents of Bronx Mowgli Wentz, born on November 20th with a weight of 7 lbs., 11 oz., and 20 1/2 inches long.

Jennifer Aniston Asks Fans Not to Sell Her Photos

JENNIFER ANISTON is happy for fans to take snaps of her when they catch her out and about – as long as they don’t try to sell them.
Aniston is one of the paparazzi’s most wanted stars, as the world clamours for the latest shots and gossip about her relationship with John Mayer.
Jennifer accepts it’s inevitable in the technological age that star-struck members of the public will want to snap her when she’s in public.
She hates the idea that she’s posing for a potential magazine cover every time she steps outside her front door.
She says,

“People sometimes pretend that they’re on the phone, and they kind of dial and take the picture at the same time. You hope they’re doing it for themselves, that they’re not thinking, ‘I’m going to dine out on you’.”

I’m not sure how much a photo of Jennifer Aniston goes for – but something tells me it would be worth more than a dinner.

Atlantis, Dubais Officially Opens!!

The Grand Opening of the Atlantis, Dubais was a star-studded event. It was said to cost $13.5 million lbs. That is a lot of MONEY!!

Times Online reported that approximately 2,000 guests sipped Dom Pérignon. A-list celebrities from Charlize Theron, Robert De Niro, Mary-Kate Olsen, Mischa Barton to Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson walked the red carpet.

Singer Kylie Minogue performed on stage followed by the world’s largest fireworks display, seven times greater than this year’s Olympic Games opening ceremony in Beijing and extravagant enough to be seen from outer space.
