Jessica Simpson couldn’t be happier about her sister’s new baby, Bronx Mowgli.

Jessica tells Usmagazine.com,

“Bronx is beyond precious. I’m over the moon with joy. Life is a beautiful miracle. Ashlee and Pete and healthy, happy and enjoying every moment.”

Bronx Mowgli Wentz – who weighs in at 7 lbs, 11 oz, and is 20.5 inches long – was born late Thursday night.

Jessica told Ellen DeGeneres Wednesday that Ashlee was doing everything to induce labor. It looked like it worked!!
