Simon Cowell is VERY Full of Himself!!

I actually like Simon Cowell. He tells it like it is – there is no guessing as to WHAT HE REALLY MEANT.

Some people look at his bluntness as a negative. I happen to be one of those people that appreciates his bluntness. You don’t ever have to worry about what he thinks. He puts it right out there. No guessing is ever involved.

Once again, he told it – how he saw it. When speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Simon and Ryan were discussing Britney Spear’s recent visit to the British Talent Show, X-Factor.

Behind the scenes, Cowell said Britney was a bit shy.

“To be fair, and this may be a bit egotistical, I think she was in awe of me. She was just staring at me. I said, ‘Touch me, I’m human,’ and I think that broke the ice.”

 

 

In awe – yes definitely egotistical. She was probably more nervous about what he was going to say about her “comeback”. What do you think was it awe or fear??

Brad Pitt is Making It Right in New Orleans!!

Brad Pitt is really helping out in New Orleans.  Thanks to his Make It Right project he has been able to make good in helping the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged part of New Orleans.   A number of architects, residents and community leaders who have joined the rebuilding process, as well.

Brad is very modest in his interview with Architectural Digest,

“I never had any idea that so many people would show up for this.  The model works and it’s replicable.”

The Make It Right Foundation’s goal is to build 150 new homes for residents in the area among those hit hardest during the 2005 hurricane. So far, six homes have been constructed.

Pitt also stated, “We’ve cracked something here … these houses redefine affordable housing.  This is a proving ground for a bigger idea that could work globally.”

Throughout the past year, the foundation has continued to assist victims of the hurricane in regaining a sense of normality – and a sense of home.  

“You have no idea what a high it is for me to see the delight on people’s faces when they see how these homes work.”

Katrina victims have been waiting a long time to get back to their homes.  Who better to welcome them but Brad Pitt!!

Madonna and A-Rod Are On Vacation!!

Yes – it’s true!!

According to People Magazine, Madonna and Alex Rodriguez were both spotted in Mexico City last weekend.

Although the two have not confirmed their romance, there was a “moment” that said it all - when, according to E!, A-Rod handed Madonna a bottle of water during her concert in Miami. 

What do you think – does handing someone a bottle of water – especially when they’re thirsty – mean your a couple??  If so – I had better be more careful going forward.
