Britney Spears Cancels Christmas at Rockefeller Center

Britney Spears seems to be showing bits of her past personality with regard to the Tree Lighting Ceremony in NY.

Britney has been going back and forth and back and forth…. about 14 times its been estimated – as to whether she will perform tonight. As of right now she has cancelled her appearance. She has pre-taped a video instead.

How disappointing. There is supposed to be a surprise guest tonight – I wonder who it could be. Any ideas??

Who is Taylor Swift Writing About NOW??

Taylor Swift is famous for her song lyrics.  Her songs usually have something to do with what’s going on in her life.  Take “Forever & Always” – that is a break-up tune about Joe Jonas.

People magazine has reported that on Taylor’s latest album, Fearless, she has written another song for someone – only this time it was a crush.

The lyrics are a lot sweeter this time:

 “Cause I can’t help it if you look like an angel/Can’t help it if I wanna kiss you in the rain, Hey Stephen,” 

Stephen is Stephen Liles, his band Love and Theft opened for Taylor during some of her tour this year.
When asked about the song, Stephen said:

“It’s totally flattering to have somebody write a song like that for you,” 

While Swift (who calls Love and Theft her “favorite band” in a video posted on the group’s MySpace page) won’t officially confirm the subject of her song, the words “Love and Theft” are spelled out in code in the song’s lyric sheet. 

Taylor told  PEOPLE:

“I wrote this song last year about a guy named Stephen who I thought was cute. Sometimes all it takes to write a song about someone is thinking that they’re cute.”

Taylor and Stephen are not romantically involved.  They are good friends.

Stephen said:

“We’ve become great friends since Love and Theft started opening shows for her.  I think everyone would agree she’s a total sweetheart and anyone would be lucky to go out with her”

Careful guys – you never know when you may show up in a song written by Taylor Swift!!

Madonna and A-Rod Mansion Shopping in Manhattan – Fact or Fiction??

There have been rumors floating around that MADONNA and Alex Rodriguez are quietly shopping for love nests on the Upper East Side and on the East End, sources told Page Six.

A knowledgeable real estate source said the couple are

“discreetly looking at properties between Fifth and Park avenues, from just above 60th Street through the 80s.”

I’m not sure just how discreet it is since it’s now public knowledge.

They’ve been looking at double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million.”

Both A-Rod and Madonna have homes in Manhattan but A-Rod’s home has been on the market since he announced his split with his wife.  Madonna has a place in Central Park West.

Is Camilla Belle Dating Robert Pattinson??

And so the saga continues. First we have Joe Jonas breaking up with Taylor Swift for Camilla Belle. Now we have Camilla Belle seen out with Robert Pattinson.

According to Celebuzz, Camilla Belle and Robert Pattinson were spotted at Three Square Bakery in LA for lunch.

The two laughed together as they strolled the popular street. Pattinson showed some chivalry with little things like opening and closing Belle’s car door.
