Jamie Foxx Has the Perfect Dog for the Obama Family

I am going to be completely honest – the only reason I am writing this story is because I saw Jamie Foxx at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and got the most AWESOME photos of him.  I am just looking for an excuse to post the photos.

Jamie Foxx thinks he knows the dog the Obamas should welcome to the White House — a pitbull.

The Associated Press reports Jamie is searching for Barack and family,

“[I'm] trying to pick out Barack Obama’s Christmas puppy right now… I think I’m going to get him a pitbull, we just got to keep it street.”

Foxx also said he plans on being at Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.

What kind of dog would you like to see the first family get??

Jennifer Aniston Doesn’t Understand Why People Care

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t understand why people care about her life so much.

She told USA Today:

“I think it’s ridiculous. There’s just this insatiable need.   I am honestly getting sick of it, and I feel like telling people, ‘You know what? It’s none of your (expletive) business.’ Seriously, it’s enough,”

It is ridiculous – if I had the answer to that question I probably wouldn’t be blogging about her as often as I do.

Although by speaking about it and doing interviews with Vanity Fair – it will bring her more press and hopefully more people to see her latest  film,  Marley & Me (out Dec. 25) and of course that means more money for the film and ultimately her.  It’s a vicious cycle.   She hopes the movie:

 ”is going to create something else to talk about and realize that I have a job, and I’m an actress.”

“And this is at a time when we should be so inspired and excited with what’s happening with the president.  It’s a time to be positive and join together. We’re just trying to entertain you, man. Don’t shoot the messenger.”

As for her movie Marley and Me, with Owen Wilson, she tells the paper that dogs do help people get through “the stupid stuff.”

Jennifer– who has a corgi-terrier mix named Norman — says when it comes to animals:

“there is no relationship ever — parents, a friendship, partners or lover — there’s no connection like that ever.”

Thankfully she didn’t mention children.  I’m not sure about that statement.  I know people often treat their pets like family and it is a definite unconditional love – but to have a connection like that and say that it doesn’t compare to anything else – that I am not too sure about.

Kate Hudson Cutting Back on Christmas

The tough economic times is hitting everywhere – even Hollywood.   Kate Hudson has said that she is feeling the pressure to cut back on spending – just like everyone else.

“I think it’s a really weird time and I think that everyone is feeling it,”

Instead of buying expensive gifts Kate says her family relies on handmade presents to save money and to keep things more personal. 

As years past, Kate and son, Ryder, are going to be spending the holidays in Colorado skiing. Would that be considered cutting back?

I love to read about the actors/actresses doing their part by not spending as much money on the holidays. What are the going to do with the $10+ milliion they get from their films – storing it under the mattress is definitely not going to help the economy.

Another Restraining Order in Hollywood

First we heard that Jennifer Garner obtained a restraining order, then it was Kirsten Dunst and now we have Alyssa Milano (former Who’s the Boss sweetheart) in the process of seeking a restraining order.

How awful!! The three ladies put themselves in the public eye by doing what they love – acting.  To think that being in the public eye can be so dangerous.   Being followed by photographers is one thing but actually being stalked is frightening.

Alyssa Milano is seeking a restraining order against a man that she claims has been harassing her.  Milan wrote in the court documents:

“I fear for my personal safety, and that of my family and friends,” 

The legal papers accuse Jeff Turner of hiking miles to reach Alyssa’s Los Angeles home, bypassing several security measures to do so.  Milano also states that Turner has displayed “increasingly threatening behavior.”  She is seeking court protection not only for herself, but for her parents and brother as well.

A January hearing has been scheduled to discuss the matter.
