According to the LA Times, a man in a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced his way through the front door of Paris Hilton’s home and proceeded to ransack her bedroom. Thankfully she wasn’t home at the time.
The burglary resulted in $2 million worth of the heiresses jewels being stolen from her Hollywood Hills home.

Paris told, Life & Style Weekly:

“I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace. I’m just thankful that I wasn’t there when it happened.”

That has to be devastating and to just break through the front door – how scary!! What a violation.

There Is A New Kendra Wilkinson In Town!!

Apparently, since Kendra Wilkinson has become engaged she has become a changed woman.

According to Brigitte Marquardt, her former playboy roomie, she told People Magazine that,

“She’s a lot more timely. She doesn’t flash anymore. She’s a lot more conservative. She’s so in love. Kendra has found love with a great guy. Hank is the perfect gentleman.”

Kendra doesn’t flash?? Some how I find that hard to believe – but a new milder Kendra might be nice. What do you think – is it possible for people to change and so quickly??

Matthew McConaughey Just Keeps Livin!!

Matthew McConaughey has updated his MySpace page. It sounds like he has been having a blast traveling. Read what Matthew has to say on his MySpace page:

Hey all,

Back on the west coast after some incredible travels…cool inspirations seen and done via the road and had some real just keep livin (jkl) moments along the way…

-Took a 14 day road trip with my buddy Gus down to southern Baja. He and I became great friends on the road 16 years ago and we needed to get back on track with our friendship and do some of that old fashioned phi-loso-phising that only a road trip can render…we needed it, we got it, thanks Gus…j.k. livin

-We broke down in the middle of the desert while on that trip, in a place where we hadn’t seen nor heard another human for three days. I had to jog down a dirt road for a couple of hours in hope of finding a trace of anyone…Well, I finally did, and her name was “Matty”, an 82 year old Mexican woman who loaned me (a complete stranger speaking broken Spanish), her 1981 Isuzu truck with 263,000 miles on it. That truck got us to a place where we could get the gear to fix MY truck and get back on the road…Thanks Matty….just keep livin….Good hearted strangers and trust….cool

-After 4,206 miles of camping across America, I was once again reminded of how good looking this country is…saw family and friends, met strangers, made acquaintances…I was in some predominately “red” states when President-elect Obama was elected. I talked to a bunch of people who had voted for McCain and-check this- unanimously, those same people were genuinely excited and hopeful about Obama being elected…They all felt that the country had spoken in earnest, electing Obama, and they were more than “ready for the ride”, they were ready to get into the action…cool…j.k. livin

- I spent my 39th birthday on the southern rim of the Grand Canyon…almost got “butted” of the edge by a ram and caught some shooting stars…as for the first sight of the GC, mother nature created something that looks so fake, its real….cool

-We decided to put a “dime of every dollar” j.k. livin brands makes into the j.k. livin foundation. We appreciate the online sales so far and know that we put a lot of time into each product choice and we believe in the message that no matter what, we gotta “just keep livin.” …Now, a piece of every purchase is helping some kids who need it, do the same…Check out www.jklivinstore.com for more info about the store and foundation…appreciate it…cool…j.k. givin

-Getting into some new music, best album front to back I’ve heard in a while is the new Kings of Leon, “Only by the Night”….good music….cool…j.k. listenin’

-I went to Brazil for the first time to visit my lady’s family and tour the land a bit…Found a very proud and happy culture there. We ate, we drank, we danced, and they tolerated my stumbling through the Portuguese language….I will return, beautiful country, beautiful and classy people…thanks Brazil…cool

just keep livin, mcconaughey

Good Deeds by the Stars!!

December 22, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I have read numerous articles on how our favorite celebrities are cutting back on their holiday spending – and to be honest – I am getting a bit annoyed. Is it me or do you think they are making sure to say this so that the “average” person who is suffering through these tough economic times can relate??

If it is so that we can relate to them – I have to say – i don’t relate and it just makes me angry. I don’t make $20 million for a couple of months work. I probably will not even make $20 million in my lifetime.

I found an article on US Magazine.com and decided to write about the stars that give back.

  • Brad Pitt – Make It Right Foundation – a New Orleans foundation that has raised money to fund the re-building for those who lost their homes during Hurricane Katrina
  • Jennifer Aniston – Fund Raising for Saint Judes hospital – since its inception in 2004
  • Eva Longoria ParkerEva’s heroes, an afterschool program for those children with special needs and Padres Contra El Cancer, a program which helps Latino children stricken with Cancer.
  • Sarah Michelle-Gellar – CARE – a program aimed at fighting poverty, through education, health and social reform.
  • Chris Rock – Salvation Army – Rock works with the Salvation Army in Bushwick, Brooklyn (his hometown)
  • Hillary Duff – Blessingsinabackpack.com gives kids who get federally funded meals during the week backpacks of food to take home for the weekend. Duff has been buying meals for 2 years.

It is so nice to see how some of our favorite celebrities are giving back rather than saying they are cutting back. Giving back makes more sense – what do you think???

Britney and Benji Are NOT a Couple!!

Britney Spears and Benji Madden are dating – NOT!

In Touch, reported that Britney and Benji were dating – and I questioned it from the minute I posted it -Spears’ publicist Holly Shakoor denies any connection.

“There is not an ounce of truth to any of it.”

The tabloid claims that Spears’ dad, Jamie, and her manager, Larry Rudolph, have been searching for potential suitors for the singer, including Chace Crawford, Michael Phelps, Jesse Metcalfe and Madden.

Madden was spotted with his ex, Paris Hilton, twice this week, and Britney just got back to L.A. after promoting her new album, Circus, in Tokyo.

I should have went with my gut on this one. It seemed a bit far fetched.

What do you think – did you believe it for even a second??
