Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Get Engaged!!

New England Patriots QB, Tom Brady, has popped the question to supermodel girlfriend, Gisele Bündchen, on Christmas Eve. And she accepted.

According to TMZ, Tom proposed on a private jet from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey to Boston on Wednesday. There were four dozen white roses on board, as well as champagne. New Jersey to Boston is a quick flight. Maybe Tom was nervous and wanted to make a quick exit in the event that Gisele said no.

Thankfully, Gisele said yes and everyone is happy!! Congratulations to Gisele and Tom.

Miley Cyrus Asks for a Raise

Miley Cyrus is requesting a raise from her parents. Currently, Miley is getting $100 per week from her parents. According to Star Magazine (consider the source), Miley is requesting her allowance to be raised to $1,000.

According to the Star, Miley’s parents take care of all of her normal expenses but since she has been dating Justin Gaston she has requested the increase.

Miley is said to have made more than $25 million for the year 2008 alone. Not bad for a 16 year old.

I’m not sure why the fact that she is dating means she needs an additional $900 per month. Has the price of movies and dinner gone up that much?? What about Justin – is he paying for anything??

Pete and Ashlee Debut Bronx Mowgli

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson true to their word – did not sell Bronx Mowgli’s photo to the highest bidder,  instead they decided to debut his photo on www.friendsorenemies.com.   Friendsorenemies is Pete’s website.

The couple posted a “Happy Holidays” greeting:

To ”all our friends” on Wentz’s site, friendsorenemies.com, that reads, “We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz.”

Bronx was born Nov. 20 in Los Angeles and “makes me laugh and smile everyday,” Simpson-Wentz recently wrote.

Brad and Jen at it Again!!

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are at it again. Only this time its at the box-office.

According to People Magazine, the former couple both had movies in competition for the top spot on Christmas Day, and while Jen’s film, Marley & Me, pulled in the most money, both movies were winners at the box office.

Jen’s, Marley & Me, a feel-good movie costarring Owen Wilson about a young family and mischievous dog, grossed $14.8 million, the highest one-day total ever for a film opening on Christmas.

Brad’s movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button wasn’t far behind. The film, about the life-long romance between a man who ages in reverse (Pitt) and a woman (Cate Blanchett), set the record for the second-highest Christmas opening of all-time with $11.8 million.

Both films exceeded box office expectations by 40-50 percent.

It’s good to see Jen came out ahead this time!!

And so the Lohan Saga Continues!!

Another he said, she said coming from who else but the Lohan clan.

This time we have Lindsay Lohan who has posted on her Myspace page some very personal family information:

“My father just let my family and [me] know, amongst other [things] that he had another child after my little sister Aliana,” writes Lohan in a post titled “Random Thoughts.”

She continues: “Or maybe he had it before Aliana?? Either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks.”

In an e-mail to PEOPLE, Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, strongly denies his daughter’s claim, and said in a separate conversation he believes there is a “99 percent chance” Lohan’s MySpace message was actually written by her girlfriend, Samantha Ronson.

Why?? How does lying about an illegitimate child benefit Lindsay/Samantha?
